The cut wasn't noting though. By the time that Princess Diana had finished her meal, the red stain on king Lugard robe had grown to cover much of his lap. The young king's face look pale and drawn. It was obvious that his man were alarmed at all the blood watching it has it grown. None of them said a word about it. They were all startled. So she had been correct, her aim had been true. But this man, this kind man, was strong of both body and will.

The king's guard's had made several attempt to call the attention of the king to his wound but he was adamant. He acted undisturbed with the cut. As a matter of fate, he was unscathed. He continued eating as if everything looked fine.

In fact, King Lugard continued to talk with Princess Diana as though noting at all had happened. His conversation was lively, calm, heartwarming and interesting- tough, realistic, yet generous and wise. She had an odd realization: Abasia Kingdom's men bored her, most especially the wealthy ones.
