Chapter Twelve

Jadenne’s Point of View

I had forgotten how exhausting shopping could be. Felicity was great and she really got me out of my shell. It did not take her long to realize that I was not fully comfortable with what we were doing and she really helped me along. She had a vibrant and bubbly personality, but she was also confident and gave off a don’t mess with me attitude flawlessly. I instantly liked her, although I was intimidated at first.

She was patient with me when we went to the first shop, and I really did not know what to do. For years the only clothes I had had were the ones passed down from Julie, which were full of holes or too small. It didn’t take Felicity any time at all to fill a cart with clothes. Then we headed to the dressing rooms. Felicity made changing into the outfits fun, and we even danced around a bit.
