Karen poured us both tea before nesting in her red sofa, sighing. She's told me all about the divorce and how she's getting along with it. She's not fine with it because she wants her boys to have both parents especially Alvin who's already Eighteen and need a dad in his life now more than ever. The room I wake up in is white and I feel a strong tugging at my arm before my eyes flutter open and realize I'm in a hospital room. Then came the memory of me lying on the floor of the house with smoke all over the place, with Fabrico running in through the doors with a cotton jacket on and dashing towards me. I'm wearing a blue hospital gown then my eyes roam the room. It's only Kay here. Two nurses entered, checking my temperature and all that. "All good says one""What happened?"
