Chapter 52

Davina's POV

When I finished bathing then getting dressed I walked out of our room to the living area, scanning my surroundings as I looked over at our dining table when a I felt dizzy.

A flashback hitting me, showing the three of us sitting at the table when I felt hot, my body felt like it was cooking from the inside as my wolf was being shoved away from me.

I could hear her, her whimper as it got further away inside my mind, felt like an entire piece of me was being ripped from me but there was nothing I could do to stop it.

I screamed out for her, reached for her but she slipped through my fingers, the touch of her fur threading through them as she was pulled roughly from me, leaving me alone, hollow.

I shuddered at the feeling when I heard a yell, my eyes snapping over to see Leif running at me but I couldn't understand why until I felt the ground hit me hard.
