Amanda's P.O.V 

  I'm speechless. Is this even real? Am I really touching his cock? Why is he doing this to me? He needs to leave me alone. He's going to get my hopes up and break my heart all over again.   "You're a tease. You need to finish what we were doing, and it was getting good." Sage whispers, grabbing my hand.

  "I'm not trying to start anything. I'm not giving you the cold shoulder. I know you, if you get what you want, you won't ever respect me. I'd be wasting my time because you wouldn't want to be with me publicly, only privately, but guess what, Alpha? You can't have one without the other. It would be best if you wanted to be with me, not hide me. You'll always be in my heart, Sage, and you'll always be the Alpha." I said. I ran out of there as fast as I could.

Sage P.O.V 

  "What the hell is humi running to?" Vanessa asked.

  "Watch it! Even though you're my mate, I have loved Amanda for 2 years, and now she is like a little sister to me. Duke and I will protect her from everyone, including you, mate!" Guy says, growling at Vanessa.

  "What was that, Patterson?" I growled at Guy.

  "Yes, Alpha. I was in love with Amanda. I know you forbid us from ever talking to her, but you know what? She's a lovely girl with a heart of gold. She deserves better than what you all put her through, all because you hated her. I won't do that anymore. I love her. She's like a sister to me, and I'll always be here for her. Duke, Amanda, and I are even going to Yale together. We can't wait to leave town, to have fun, living life to the fullest. So go ahead and punish us. We won't leave her again. We love her and stand by her side from now to eternity." Guy states proudly.

  "Let's watch the movie, babe. I have something for you to take care of." I say as I grab Vanessa. Glaring at Guy and Duke as they turn back around to watch the movie. Vanessa is on her knees, pleasing me. I'm not thinking about her, though; I'm thinking about Mandy.

I want her to be happy." Guy says to Duke. Slagging me off.

  "Well, did you hear all that? It was a good thing you forgot your phone. She's in love with you, and all you have done is screw it up by shoving your whores in her face. If I had a separate body, I would be beating the fuck out of you right now. I'd find our mate and tell her to take me and leave you the fuck behind. GRRRR." Lee growls savagely. 

  "Ok, man, what do I do? Help me get close to her. I need her like grass needs water. Please help me." I mind-linked Lee, begging him for help. I hear him grunt and then nothing. Lee is so mad he won't talk to me. I pull myself together to meet Vanessa outside. I have to take her home and end things with her. I feel so guilty every time I shove Vanessa and the other girls in Mandy's face. I need to stop. I'm awful to her, but I don't want her to be my weakness. I'm finding it harder to keep away from her. We arrive at Vanessa's house.

 "I don't love you. You're not my mate. It's over," I say, turning to her as she leaves my truck.

  "But I love you. I know I have a mate, but I want you. We've been together for over three years. Please don't break up with me. I'll do anything. I love you. Please."

  "No, you need to be with your mate. There's a reason he's your mate. He will take care of you. Give him a chance." I said sternly.

  "What were you doing with that human girl? You were really close to her, whispering in her ear." Vanessa asked, looking jealous.

  "It was nothing. I was trying to get rid of her, and it worked because she left. We got to watch some of the movies without her stench. You should call your mate and sort things out with him because it was messed up what you did in front of him was messed up. I won't come between you two. It's not working out anyway." I said to Vanessa, trying to cover my tracks but also trying to make her see sense.

  "Why? Have you found your mate?" Vanessa asks, in shock.

  "Goodnight. Go be with your mate while you still can." I say, refusing to answer her question. I drive off, heading home, but something is telling me to go to the beach. So I started driving there. Instead, I had no idea why. I park my truck and head down to the beach when I see her, the most beautiful girl in my entire world….My Mate.
