Chapter Thirty: Sage Part 2

Amanda's  P.O.V 

  I look at him, confused. What the hell is going on with him? When he looked at me, his eyes were dark black pools of liquid, but now he's looking at me again, and his eyes are back to their normal blueish grey color. He looks at my neck and sees my blood trickling down from the open wound. He moves closer to me and starts licking my neck, causing the wound to heal up before I bleed to death.

  "Mandy, do you know why my wolf, Lee, bit you?" Sage asks, still looking at my neck. I just sat there frozen, I'm completely speechless from what just happened, and  I just shook my head at him. 

  "Do you know about marking? And how the only way you get marked is because you're someone's mate?" Sage asked me, this time looking into my eyes. I nodded, of course, I knew about marking, I've seen enough she-wolves with the mark on their necks.

  "Well….Mandy….you're our mate. Now you're stuck with me, whether you like it or not. That is why Lee marked you; he wanted to do it when we first found out, but I told him no." Sage said, pulling up his jeans and boxers, fastening them and his belt. I just looked at him in shock. I couldn't believe it.

  "You are mine," Sage said, a bit sternly.

  "WHAT THE FUCK, SAGE! YOU FUCKING BIT ME!!! YOU BASTARD!!" I shouted at him, feeling my rage bubbling up inside of me. I am holding the side of my neck and glaring at him.

  "WHAT THE HELL, LEE!" I shouted again.

  "Lee says you're welcome, mate," Sage said, slightly smirking. I can't believe how cocky he and his wolf are right now. 

  I just stood there in shock, my thoughts were rushing through my mind at a mile a minute. Half of me felt angry, the other half felt happy. I didn't know if I was still in shock from what just happened or if it was because of the small amount of blood I lost. Oh shit! I can't believe it. I'm mated to Sage Stone. What the fuck? No wonder he wouldn't leave me alone; this explains everything. Why was he acting weird? Why did I feel this pull towards him? Why couldn't I resist him? I had heard others talking about how the mate bond was strong, but I never thought it was this strong, or maybe it's only this strong because I'm human. This is why I forgive him every time and let him back into my heart. We are destined to be together.

Sage P.O.V

I walked towards her and gently took her hand in mine. She just went along with me as I led her out through the double doors to the car park, where my truck was parked. I opened the door, and she willingly got in, not saying a word. We drove for a while, and we were slowly pulling up to the turning for the place where the other kids went to meet up. I kept glancing back at her to make sure she was ok. She looked like she was in shock for most of the ride, but then her expression changed, and she looked angry. I heard her phone vibrate and she pulled it out of her pocket, just staring at it.

  "Who is texting you?" I couldn't help but ask, trying to make small talk.

  "No one," Mandy replied, she really doesn't want to talk to me.

  "It's that fucker Lia,m isn't it?" I growled.

  "So, what if it is him?" She growled back. growled, slammed on the brakes, and pulled over. She looks scared, maybe she thinks I'm going to blow up at her or that I'm mad. 

  "Do you really not want to be with me anymore?" I said I'm not mad, I'm just sad. What if she rejects me? What if I've done too much for her to forgive? What if she hates me?

  "What do you think, Sage?" She replied, I could tell she was being sarcastic.

  "I think you do, but you don't want to share me," I said, turning to look at her.

  "This is what I want, Alpha. I want it to be just you and me and no one else. I love you." She replied, firmly stating her demands. I can't do that; she will get hurt. I have to protect her.

  "You know I love you too, but we cannot be together in public. It is not normal, and people will judge me for being mated to a human girl. Especially one that I told everyone in town about." I replied, looking down at my fingers, fidgeting.

  "What did you say about me, Sage?" She asked I could feel her glaring at me the whole time.

  "You know, the usual, like you're nothing and you do not belong here with all of us," I said, fidgeting even more and trying to avoid her gaze.

  "Why? Why did you do that?" She asked, she sounded annoyed and hurt.

  "I have no idea, but I guess I started to get angry when you were hanging out with other people and forgetting about me," I said, taking a deep breath. It hurt that she did that.

  "Sage, I have never forgotten about you. You have always been on my mind. I was waiting for you to come back to me, but you never did. Now I'm stuck with you because you marked me, and to top it off,f I'm probably pregnant. You've just ruined my future, Sage." She snapped at me. Oh shit, I cummed in her a lot more than I thought, I never stopped to think about that. I just couldn't get enough of her; she is like a drug to me.

  "Yes, I know, but you cannot be with anyone else. I forbid it." I said, looking at her seriously.

  "WHAT! SO YOU CAN AND NOT ME!" She shouted at me.

  "Don't ever say that again. Do you hear me? You are mine." I growled at her. I didn't mean to, but the thought of her being with someone else pissed both Lee and me off.

  "I am not yours, Sage. If I were, you wouldn't be with anyone else." She said harshly.

  "I CAN'T BE WITH YOU AND ONLY YOU. THEY WILL NOT RESPECT ME AS THEIR ALPHA." I screamed.

  "You have to let it all work out, just completely be with our mate." Lee mind-linked me. 

  "What the heck, Sage? Even Lee is on my side. I want to know why you marked me and mated with me, but you don't want to be with me and only me?" She said. Lee and I stop our conversation, and I look right at her.

  "What? Wait, I can hear Lee. How is that even possible?" She says, looking at me, confused.

  "When do you think she is going to change and become like us?" Lee mind-linked me.

  "What does he mean? What's going on? Why can I hear Lee and you talking?" She said, firing questions at me, not waiting for an answer between each question.

  "Baby, the reason you can hear me and Lee's mind-link is that you are going to become a werewolf just like me. Your transformation will be quicker because you are mated to me and because I'm an Alpha." I answered, waiting for her reaction. Would she be happy or angry about this? It's a lot to take in; her whole life is going to change because of us.

  "So because I'm mated to you and because you bit me, I'm going to become a werewolf like you?" She asked, glaring at me. I could see the confusion and shock in her eyes.

  "Yes, that's right," I replied, still bracing myself.

  "So, because you are mated to me and an Alpha, does that mean you can go and fuck whatever girl you want, and I can't say anything about it?" She asked, looking up at me.

  "Pretty much," I said, trying to put a smirk on my face so she wouldn't suspect anything. I can't tell her that I won't be able to, that I won't be able to stop thinking about her. If I do it could put her in danger, especially if everyone knows she is my mate before she has completed the transformation.

  "WELL FUCK YOU! ALPHA! I AM NOT GOING TO LIVE LIKE THAT. I AM STILL GOING TO GO ON THAT DATE WITH LIAM TOMORROW NIGHT, AND THEN I AM GOING TO LIVE MY LIFE AS IF NOTHING EVER HAPPENED!" She screamed. 

  I am trying to keep Lee calm and to stop him from taking over, but she just keeps going on and on with her rant. She is crying and fussing, turning to reach for the door handle, that's when I feel it, I lose control again, and Lee is in the driving seat.

  Lee P.O.V

  That's it, I can't take any more of this. I move closer to her, and I know she can feel my warm breath on the back of her neck. She slowly turns and looks deep into my eyes. She knows Sage isn't in control anymore; she knows it's me. I can feel Sage trying to push through, to take control back, but I'm too pissed to let him.

  "Oh shit," Mandy whispers, that's all she says. I can feel the rage burning inside of me from what she just said, and it's all Sage's fault. 

  "That's it! I am going to make sure she will never be with anyone else. She is going to be living with us, screw what everyone else thinks and says. I don't care if they see us with her or not. She is our mate, and I am not ashamed of her. I love her." I mind-linked Sage, I am trying to control my anger, but a growl escapes my lips. Mandy just looks at me and she looks scared.

  "What? No! Lee!" Sage mind-links back. I can feel how pissed he is right now, but it's nothing compared to my anger.

  "Fuck you, Sage! She is our mate, and she deserves the best. We are going to build a nice little cabin for us to live in together, and we are going to announce that we found our mate. Our perfect mate. So help me I will kick your ass if you fuck this up." I mind-linked Sage, all the time not breaking eye contact with Mandy. Sage goes quiet and doesn't say anything for a moment or two.

  "Damn. This is going to get ugly, but you're right. She is ours, and we should be proud to show everyone we found our mate." Sage mind-links me back

  "Damn straight! Now let's get our mate home." I mind-linked Sage. Mandy kept looking at me, and then she smiled. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She must have heard what I said. I can feel Sage taking control back from me, but I don't mind. I just hope he has come to his senses and doesn't fuck this up again
