I am Somebody I don't Know

I raised my eyebrows, as my whole face scrunched at how spooked she was by the cuts. My simple thought was that she just didn't like seeing blood— however, it turned out to be something that was a lot more different… and complicated.

I tried to take my arms from her, but her grip on them was tight to the point where it was starting to hurt. I cringed in pain— I was sure that she didn't mean it and was totally unconsciously doing it— so instead, I answered her question in hopes that she would let go of my hand.

"There was a guy— actually, two of them," I tried to let out through gritted teeth trying to suppress the pain that I was feeling, as I watched the expression on her face change.

"What guys?!" The old lady freaked out— finally dropping my hand, as I swear that her eyes changed colors; however, it could also be just my imagination, "what do you mean guys?! Where did you see them?!"
