But he just let it pass as he discussed with his dad about other things..while Elsa came towards them with a glass of champian in her hand

" Adrian.." Elsa said and Adrian turned his gaze to her

He stood up and kissed her on her cheek.. not more her head. It took her aback..because Adrian always kisses her forhead.

But for sometime now..she has realised that, he doesn't kisses her on her head anymore.

After which she went forward and greeted his dad and took her sit beside Adrian as he sat back down

"Have you seen mom and dad?" Elsa asked Mr Blake

"Yeah..they're with other guest" Mr Blake

"Surely discussing business i guess" Elsa said

"You don't seem pleased.." Mr Blake said

"They always do that..like they don't have time for me" Elsa said and Adrian giggled

"When are you going to grow up..Elsa?" Adrian said and she hit his elbow playfully

After a moment of Silence.. Mr Blake asked

"Where's Billie..I haven't seen her since you came?" 

"I saw her going upstairs with Lane..she's surely having fun" Elsa answered as if they asked her

When Adrian heard it, he opened his eyes wide..without saying anything, he rose up and left.

While Mr Blake kept narrowing his eyes at Elsa since she made that statement.. but when Adrian left, he was amazed at his reaction..when he turned back his gaze to Elsa unconciously, she was displeased.

On the otherside, Lane was showing Billie his collections..and paints on his wall in his corridor

He kept looking at Billie carefully when Billie met his gaze, she gave him a what expression

"I haven't told you how gorgeous you look in this dress..have i?" Lane said and she shook her head

"Not that you aren't gorgeous naturally but..this dress reveals that more" Lane said and she blushed

"Where did you get this dress..it looks very expensive, including the accessaries on you?" Lane asked as they continued walking

"Adrian bought them for me.." Billie responded

"It shows..does he always do that?" Lane asked

"Yeahh.." She responded and he stopped 

"Really!?" he asked 

"Uhh.." Billie said not understanding what he really meant

"What he did to you infront of me..the kiss on your head.." Lane said and her face lit up

"Uhh..not always.. but yeah, often times he does that" Billie said as she was about to drink her glass of wine..

"Stop!" Lane said and took the glass from her and she blinked her eyes contineously not understanding why he did that

He kept looking at the glass..then smelled it..and it was a familia smell.

He frowned at the knowledge of what she was about to drink.

"Where the fuck is this coming from!" he mumbled to himself and she responded thinking he was talking to her

"A waiter served it to me..a while ago. What's wrong Lane?" Billie asked as Adrian came from the corner of the corridor and rushed towards them

On seeing the glass of wine in Lanes hand, and what it contained, he said coldly

"What the fuck is going on here?" looking at Lane

And lane looked at him too in thesame state

"Don't tell me you planned on giving her that..because I'll tear you apart!" Adrian said and Billie looked at him furrowing her brows

"I'll be looking forward to that" Lane said and stood infront of Adrian as they both looked at eachother furiously

And Billie looked at them more confused as they stood infront of her like two cocks about to fight

"Y'all should stop this..and Adrian, he didn't intend giving me 'cause i already had it in hand before we came here.." She said looking at Adrian and Adrian furrowed his brows at her

"While i was about drinking.. he siezed it from me for reasons i don't know till now.." She continued looking at Lane 

"And you came in acting as my body guard while he stood here acting as my fiance..still because of this glass of wine.

And i have no idea what it is about that glass of wine that y'all are behaving like cocks fighting for their territory!

So who starts first?" She said and they all looked at her like a little child

"It was nice lending her to you..but, i think your time is expired. I should have her back now.." Adrian told Lane and turned his gaze to her

"Is that your explaination for what just happened..?

Anyways Lane it's your turn.." She said stopping Adrians action to take her and turned her gaze to Lane

"I'm death serious Billie..we should go now" Adrian said and held her hand

"Common man..you can't just take her like that. Don't you see she's with me" Lane said and Adrian turned his gaze to him

"It's not up to 10minutes i lended her to you..and look what happened. You even brought her here alone with you..

like seriously bro!?" Adrian said

"You and i know i can't lay hands on her..and by the way she's just your secretary and not your little sis, that you'll control who she has to be with or not!" Lane said and Adrian clenched his jaw

When Billie saw that, she immediatly stood in between them turning her gaze to lane she said

"Let go Lane..I'll go with him. But, we'll talk again later on.." 

She turned her gaze to Adrian as Adrian held her waist leading her foward and they walked downstairs to the occasion..
