Chapter 11

Claire's POV

"Are you alright, Claire," Christy asked as she was driving us home

"Yeah, just got a headache," I lied

I had thought about the twins and Gwen the entire ride back home. Why did I feel sparks when Gwen and Steven touched my hand? Why did I feel betrayed that Stephen fucked Monica at lunchtime? When Stephen said he would take me home, I wanted to go with Steven, Gwen, and him, but I pushed my feeling aside and went with Christy.

"I can't believe Monica would hit you like that," Christy said. I felt a pain in my chest just by hearing her name.

"Yeah, she has one hell of a throw," I said

"It was probably just a tough ball," Christy said

When we arrived at the house, I went to my room and lay down. My head was throbbing in pain from being hit so hard. I went to the bathroom and took two Tylenol out of the medicine tablet and took them with water; then I lay in my bed.

"Claire," Jennifer said as she walked into my room
