A Princess made Slave

Chapter 3

Loud sounds of merriment could be heard from the Palace hall as women adorned with beautiful ball dresses and beads danced to the tune of the Bakarish drum.

It was a cultural dance that was made to celebrate the day they had taken back their lands.

One month is gone and they were still in peace with no land daring to come to fight their land.

King stood on the balcony as he watched his people dance in jubilation.

A smile masked his face as he nodded to the music of his father's.

"Are you happy Milord?"

"Why shouldn't I Havila, my people have been rescued and my enemies have been taken as slaves. There is nothing more soothing than knowing that your enemies are under your feet." He said, smiling as he turned to face the older woman.

"Milady. Milord." A maid walked to the balcony and bowed.

"Hmm."

"Lady Ursula is here to see you, Milord." The maid delivered the message with a slight bow.

"I do not like that woman, she's not fit to be Queen. Biting more than she can chew." The older woman said again, huffing as she turned her face to the other side and rolled her eyes.

"Hmm.. no one said she would be Queen, Nanny. Other than hating her..why don't you tell her off?" He asked to see the woman hissed and storm out of the place.

"Milord?"

"Tell her to come some other time, I'm busy." He said to the maid and she nodded and left.

He sighed as he looked down to see his people dancing with joy.

"Milord?"

"What?!" He hissed and turned, glaring until his eyes met that of the little child.

She had Sea-green eyes and a small hijab that covered her green hair.

"Good day Your Majesty." She greeted them as she gave him a slight bow.

"Hmm. How is little Lola doing today?" He asked and she smiled.

"I'm doing well." She said and sniffed the air.

"You're hurt, Milord." She said, and he smiled.

Earlier when he had been avoiding a hit from Havila, his Nanny...he had moved back only to get his palm stuck on a nail.

"Oh..yes, I mistakenly stuck my palm on a nail but it doesn't hurt..let me heal it." He said, and clutch the palm only for her to shake her head.

"Let me do it." She said, and smile when he stretched out his hand for her to take it and she did.

Closing her eyes, she muttered some spells and then opened them and let the man's hand go.

"Hmm...you're learning quickly Lola, I'm proud of you." He said and she smiled.

"Harthan has been teaching me well. She used to let me help and heal some of our men back then when we were taken captives and made slaves. I used to heal them all and they'll be fine." The little girl said loudly as she chuckled.

"Hmm..so you're trying to say, you've been a good girl when I was not around?" He asked and she nodded quickly.

"Lola! Lola! Oh..here you are, child. You will not cease to amaze me. Running around when you need to stay put and learn." Another woman barged in and her eyes widened when she saw the man beside the girl.

"Your Majesty."

"Did you run away Lola?" He asked instead, his eyes showing disappointment when he looked at her.

"I just wanted to feel the air and its freshness and also mother asked me to give the Prince....woman in the dungeon her lunch." She said and bit her lips as she looked up at the King to see him frown.

"Do not go down there again and if you do, I'll punish you by letting Harthan give you some lashes of Cain and then leave you in the stream down the stones." He said and her little eyes widened.

"No!" She said and glared at the King.

"Go now. Do not run away again and if she does..come directly to me Harthan and I'll punish her well." The King said for the other woman to nod with joy.

The king's eyes darkened and he grabbed the stairs rails, he clenched his fist so tight that you could hear his knuckles breaking.

He had almost forgotten about his little slave in the dungeon.

It was almost time for her to serve bee purpose.

Was he to take her to bed?

She was for his amusement and one thing he didn't like was the power she bore.

"Hozan!" He called and a guard hurried to his side quickly.

"Your Majesty."

"Take the slave out and send her to the slave quarters and tell Havilla that the slave should be present in my room tonight." He said curtly, running his sharp fingernail on the palm that he had Stuck to a nail to see it open.

Little Lola healed the flesh but not the inside.

He smiled, as he watched the wound heal up again.

Being a healer helped him in battles in so many ways.

His people had never been killed before and he wasn't just blessed with the gift of healing.

He was blessed with all the gifts and that was why he was called the gods of Gods.

"Did you tell Hozan to tell me that?" He turned to the voice of the older woman and sighed.

"Yes."

"She is not prepared for this."

"Havilland!" He called sternly, giving her a sharp stare that made her nod quickly.

"She will be presented in my room Havilland, and she will regret not running away when she had the chance. Her family had led many to death and it is time I show her how mercilessly her people had killed mine." He said, each word laced with unfathomable hatred for the slave girl.

With her head bowed to the ground, she nodded and went for the slave girl.

He would make her writhe in pain all night!
