Zee POV.
The best part of being a badass lawyer like me is winning, I love winning, and I often win in the court, I take cases that are near impossible and I mostly win them, I'm good at my job and I love it. All of my friends have a boyfriend, a girlfriend, a partner, a husband, or a wife, they all have a partner, and they love their partner, they bring them along to celebrate with us, we have a bar that's just for us, we love saving people's life, bringing justice.
"Hey, Zee, are you going to come tonight?" One of my colleagues asked me, of course, I was going, I had just won one of my best love crimes ever, a passion crime, she so passionately hit the mistress on the head, but didn't kill her, and now she's free to go.
"Of course, you know I will," I answer her with a smile on my face, I look at my phone and message him, I too have a partner, I'm just like the other in my office.'Hey, are you coming tonight?' I message Michael.
'Where to? I thought you were cooking for me tonight,' Michael messages back, I'm a terrible chef, I don't know how to hold a knife properly, I know how to eat with one in a fancy restaurant, I know how to cut my food and chew with my mouth closed, but when it comes to cooking, all my cutlery talents are useless, but Michael loves a good home cooked meal, and I try my best for him, which never ends well, but I do what he expects me to do.'I won the case, everyone is going to celebrate, why don't you join us?' I ask him, it's not like I would be going if he doesn't come.
'Winning a case isn't an excuse to drop your responsibilities,' he texts back. 'I won't go then, I'll just stay home and burn the food,' I type but then I delete that message knowing too well it would cause more harm than any help.'What would you like to me cook?' I send with a smiley face.
'Steak,' he answered me and I made a face at that, I hate touching raw meat, I hate cooking it, I would eat a good steak any day of the week, but cooking it isn't my favourite part, and I always end up burning it, god have mercy. 'You got it,' I message him, closing my phone, I quickly gathered my stuff and ran down to my car, I didn't have time to say goodbye to anyone, everyone was celebrating the end of the day, or pulling an all-nighter to crack their case, it's very normal in a law office, but me on the other hand, I'm running to get to the grocery store.I ran to my car, threw the briefcase in the backseat, and drove toward the nearest grocery store, good thing Michael doesn't care about organic food and I never mention it in front of him, just in case he changes his mind and wants to start being extra healthy. I parked the car and ran into the store, I looked off and weird in a place like this, I had a suit and heels on, at least I left the brief case in the car, I got a cart and started by getting the steak.
I looked at the different cuts of meat and had a disgusted look on my face still, everything looked so red and bloody, that I could sue the grocery store for causing me emotional damage with the sight of blood."You look disgusted, the lettuce is over there," a voice says from behind me making me jump, I looked behind me, and I was caught off guard, a thing I really hate about myself, I hate being so jumpy.
"I need to get it for my boyfriend," I say and finally look back at him, and I was hit in the face with how hot that guy looked, I wasn't one to deny the truth of someone's hotness."And what are you planning on cooking, maybe not burning," he asked me, and I was lost in his dark green eyes, he too was wearing a suit, we both looked odd in this place on a Wednesday afternoon.
"Steak," I answer him, and he nods walking closer to the fridge, he gives the meat one look and picks one, a thick cut of steak, he gets closer to me, even with my heels I'm shorter than him, I'm only five one, while he's more of five eleven. He placed the meat in my cart and then took a step back looking down at me with a smug look on his face."Do you know how to cook it?" he asks me.
"I know how to try," I answer him and he sighs. "You get a cast iron, you got one of those?" he asks me and I nod, I have bought everything that's needed to cook a good meal, but sadly cooking skills aren't sold online. "You heat it up really well, then you put the steak in, wait three minutes to be exact, flip it, add salt and pepper, wait another three minutes, flip it again, salt and pepper, then you add a big chunk of butter and some herbs," he says and I was taking mind notes in how to cook it."Okay," I say, wanting to succeed in cooking a steak for once.
"Use a spoon, bath the steak with the butter, wait a couple more minutes and then let it rest before serving," he says, and that was the easiest way anyone has told me to ever cook a steak, g****e tends to make it more difficult. "I can do that," I say with a firm look on my face, planning on cooking it really well, making Michael fall in love with me all over again."What else are you serving with it?" he asks me, I usually end up burning the main dish and don't get the chance to do any side dishes.
"I don't know yet," I answer him. "How about some mashed potatoes?" he asks me and I nod, which I could do. "Okay," I say worriedly, how I'm gonna manage to do both of them?"You can just use a box, add water and you'll be safe, maybe add milk and butter to make it fancy," he says with a wink making me chuckle, but then again, I'm cooking for Michael.
"He doesn't like boxed stuff," I answer him, meaning my boyfriend. "You can get a potato or two, skin them, make a big mess, make him think you cooked it," he says and I smiled. "I love the way you think," I say and together we walked toward the produce aisle, we got two potatoes and a couple of carrots and some other vegetables when I mentioned that I worried they might burn, he said we'll get them ready from the frozen section, but it's a way to hide the fact that I didn't cook them, again I laughed. We got the frozen things we needed, and then the boxed potatoes, and finally we picked a wine to match with the meal, we were still laughing and giggling as we reached the register, I did all the shopping while he was walking out empty-handed.
"Don't you want to buy anything?" I asked him, I had no idea what his name was or why he was there, he's an angel sent from heaven to help me."I needed some tape, lighter fluid and a lighter," he says with an evil smile on his face.
"You should know I'm a lawyer and you're better off not telling me your criminal intention," I say with a chuckle, he sounded like he's out of some kind of a movie. "A lawyer, hmm, how fitting, maybe one day I'll call you to get me out of jail," he says with the same smile on his face. "Let's hope you never going to need me," I say with a smile and get ready to leave, I shouldn't have stayed that long in the supermarket, but I was having way too much fun with that random guy, more than I would have an entire evening with Michael.I got back in my car and sped home, I walked into my house carrying the grocery bags, and my briefcase, first of all, I took off my shoes, losing a couple of inches in the process, I threw my briefcase near the door and walked into my kitchen, I started to take everything out, pouring myself a big glass of wine, just to make sure it's good enough for tonight and to ease my nerves while I made the ready box of mash, and then peeled potatoes, butchered it while trying to cut it and left it visible on the counter, I did the same with the vegetables before throwing them in the microwave to heat up, now that I got the sides and the ones that needs to be tricked out of the way, it's time for the steak.
I did it the exact way that guy taught me how I placed the steak down and heard it sizzling, I called to Alexa to start a three-minute timer, I added the pepper and salt, and then flipped it, or was it the other way around, anyway, I'm doing it the Zee way.
I got to the butter part and screamed when the pan caught on fire, that wasn't part of the recipe, but it happened, thankfully the fire died right away, and I managed to save the meat.I left it to rest as he told me to and waited for Michael, I plated the food while waiting, and tidied the kitchen up a bit, but not enough to hide all signs of my cooking, just enough to make it look better, I kept sipping my wine, keeping an ear out to the door, the food was getting freezing cold and there was no sign of Michael, so I messaged him.
'Hey, the food is ready,' I say sending him the message, but he didn't reply, I decided to change my clothes until he was here, I ran to my room and took off the suit and put on some comfy clothes, washing my face, pulling my hair up out of my face.
I kept checking my phone but he wasn't answering, I went back downstairs and took a seat on the sofa, waiting for him to answer me, I opened my social media and saw that everyone was out, having fun, posting selfies and small videos of them.We don't drink much on a weekday, just enough to celebrate our winning, on weekends we'd drink a lot more, but I wasn't there with them, and I wished I was there.
I laid down on the sofa, I was exhausted, and I had a long day, it's not like I only have one case at a time, I'm always working on several ones at once, and even with my big win today, I still had others that are waiting for a big breakthrough, along with the stupid and small ones we all take to keep the office moving. The food was freezing cold by now, I'll have to heat it up when Michael gets here, I'll just lie and say it's the heating that made them taste like they were cooked in the microwave, I closed my eyes, resting just for a minute, but I have fallen asleep.
I woke up to a ring on my phone, I picked it up right away reading the message it was from Michael, my boyfriend, the love of my life. 'I can't make it,' that was Michael's message at one in the morning, I'd been waiting for him since eight-thirty, and he just answered me, I walked toward the kitchen, threw my hard-cooked meal in the trash and then walked to my room so I could sleep before I have to wake up again and do it all over again.Zee POV. "Don't you look pretty," he says twirling me in the store, looking at my ball dress, it's a pink dress, similar to the one the Disney princess wears in my comfort movies. "Thank you," I say blushing looking at my daddy, he bought me everything, and he wouldn't even let me look at the prices or suggest paying anything, he's my Daddy and he's going to spoil me."Do you want them delivered?" the lady asks him. "Yes, please," he said and we walked out, we got back on our bikes and rode back to the shop, we gave him the bikes back, held hands and walked toward home. "We're gonna meet my friend and his little at noon, you can play until then," Daddy suggests walking me right toward my playroom.Yesterday I played with the dolls, today it's the mini-kitchen, I know Big Zee is terrible at cooking, and I don't like going into the kitchen, but in my pretend kitchen, I'm a great chef, and Daddy sat down to play with me again. "What you wanna eat?" I ask him, busy moving around my p
Zee POV. I woke up feeling stiff and tired, I had never slept this much, and now I was awake, I looked around at my surroundings, they weren't the ones I was used to, this wasn't my room, and this wasn't my bed, I have managed to roll around the bed while sleeping making the cover wrap around me like a cocoon, trapping me in the middle of the bed. I fought the covers, trying to get myself untangled, but it had the opposite result, my feet were both now trapped and I was unable to move my left arm."Good morning Bu..." I heard Hades say but he stopped once he saw my position. "Who won the war?" he asked me, and I stayed quiet, waiting for him to come and untangle me from the cover. "It's a tie," I say when he doesn't move to help me right away. "I can see," he says with a chuckle, I got angry at him and tried to move and shift to get out of the sheet hold. "Slow down, relax," he says with another chuckle, walking toward me and starting to untangle me."Your sheets are bad," I say
Zee POV. I’m going to take over the world, or maybe drive my new daddy insane, I haven’t decided on which one I’m going to do first, we have signed the contracts, and we have decided on going through all of this, being a real little for more than an hour or two. It's not that I have never tried being a little, I knew what I liked and what I didn't but I have never tried being a little in the open, it's always behind closed doors, always with people I trust, but clearly Hades, my current daddy trust this island and the people who are around. We have signed an NDA, which means I'm on the safe side, and if things go wrong, I'll leave and never come back, life is just one big adventure, and I'm trying my best to live it through. I looked in the mirror and saw myself without my heels, without my make-up, without my hair being done in a more fancy way, instead, I looked more little than ever."Ready?" My new Daddy Hades asks me. "I'm all ready," I say and then stop remembering to use his
Hades POV. "Let's start this," I say getting all the legal papers ready, we had our own lawyers who take care of all of our legal papers, and we have things ready and on hand the whole time, I sat with my Bunny, and the current island lawyer."This is the Non-Disclosure-Agreement," he says handing it over to her, and she signs right away, I too signed it, it had all of our full legal names. "Great, now let's move to the next one, this is the current island contract, it's fancy words to say that you'll abide to the island rules, this is a dom and subs island, depending on your code, you'll have to obey the rules of your code, and respect all of the other codes," he says explaining to her what she needs to obey and respect."Of course, but what does my code include?" she asks him in a calm voice. "Hades," the lawyer says turning to me, and it's my turn to tell her, I would've preferred to explain to her in private, but we need to have a witness on my words, so in case she ever tries
Hades POV. "I don't have my passport on me," she says eying the private jet, we don't need one, I'll get her a new one, I'll get her a better one, they are even better than the legal ones they could get, but she wouldn't be too happy about that idea, of having an illegal passport. "I have a copy of it, and Thalia can drop it off," I say with a shrug, I didn't have any, but we don't need one on my jet, all papers are done and cleared. "She doesn't know where mine is," she says, but I simply smile at her, she doesn't know what Thalia is capable of. "You can tell her where," I assure her with a shrug, that wasn't really a problem, but whatever. "Fine," she says and we walk toward the jet, we get in, and she is looking around, she doesn't look too amazed by the private jet, she has her calm face on, she takes a seat right away, I sat facing her. "You like?" I ask her. "I've seen better," she said and I frowned, making her chuckle, she's as innocent as a rabbit, but she has claws, a
Hades POV. I'm a very legal person, you'll never catch me breaking the rules, I will break them, I never obey the rules, I play by my own rules, but I'll never be caught dead doing anything against the rules, I'm a perfect citizen. Just ask all the detectives who are trying to catch me on the other side of the law, they've been chasing me for years now, trying to catch me doing something wrong but I'm very careful. "What up boss?" My right hand, best friend, and the one I count as my little sister Caitlin asks me, I looked at her with a shrug, I didn't have anything to tell her."Nothing," I lied. "Liar, something is happening, you have that look on your face," she says still studying my face, she's the master of reading faces, knowing what's going on without being told. "It's not a look, Caitlin, I'm just grumpy," I groaned. "Brother, you're always grumpy, and that's not the look," she says. "Read my face," I say and glare at her."Fine, fine, whatever you want, but you're goin
