One- Finding Kiara

The still silence of the forest was filled with the peaceful music of crickets and birds chirping but it was soon broken by a peal of mirthful laughter escaping Kiara's lips. Her dark lush hair bounced hard on her back as she ran as fast as her leg could take, trying to push it to try harder.

It wasn't fair Nate's wolf was giving her such a long distance, he promised to slow down a bit before he transformed during their walk through the forest. She could hardly see the silky sheen of his wolf fur or the familiar way they ruffled as he ran gracefully but lethal as well.   She won't lie she was starting to get exhausted, her limbs starting to ache but she needed to at least show up immediately after he reached the creek or she gets familiar with his taunts.

How the run was so easy.

Her wolf loved the forest, the calm it exuded created this aura of peace she doesn't mind basking herself in all day long. The wet muddy soil smell wafted into her nostril as the warm humid air rushed to her face as she ran.

She loved to see herself in between the long sturdy pine trees whose trunks tried to reach for the skies.

It made her wild side she can't frequently let out calm.

Far ahead she sighted Nate's wolf lapping the water running down from the creek, she knew he could sense her. His ears perked up immediately her steps slowed down. Smeared on her lips was a little smile, her try to sneak up on him seemed to have failed before she acted on it.

Nate's wolf turned his head back, she saw the glint in his eyes similar to the blue shimmer Nate's eyes carried each time they were close to each other.

His wolf seemed to love her even more.

She crouched low to run her fingers through his ruffled furs, and long pelt resting between his shoulders but he seemed to have a different idea. His strong limbs padded the damp soil as he walked toward her his stare never leaving her face.

Her smile widened as he thrummed closer she reached out her hand to him but he took her unaware when he gently nudged her down to the ground.

For a wolf, he has to be the biggest in the pack, slightly bigger than his aged father, the Alpha. It wasn't surprising as he took on this big frame as he was the next Alpha male to lead the Pack.

His coronation is just one week away.

He looked indeed like one, his grace and leadership skills were unmatched, and so was his intellect.

He crouched above her and nuzzled her gently, it caused a tickling sensation as she laughed out loud, her voice echoing through the forest's woody space.  She was getting dirty laying on the bare soil but Nate's wolf doesn't seem to care.

Kiara could feel her wolf getting excited as he got close to her but sadly she can't shift.

It was too risky for her.

A sad look crossed her face but she tried to wipe it out before Nate's wolf noticed it. A low growl came out of his throat as if trying to communicate something to her.

She could see and feel the empathy laced in his eyes and replaced her glum expression with a smile, sitting up.

"Hey, don't be sad for me," she muttered softly, caressing his cape. She leaned forward and placed a kiss on his head.

He moved back slightly towards the creeks, Kiara wondered what he wanted to do as she watched curiously but she soon knew as he stretched his limbs.

Slowly his wolf form shifted, his bones snapping and reshaping themselves to a naked human form.

Nate stood tall in front of her naked, she felt her cheeks burning. It doesn't matter how familiar she was with seeing him naked it always felt like the first. He walked over to her, his hulky tall frame towering over her.

He stood at a height of six feet four inches, his torso outlined with taut muscled lines. His strong muscular legs were no exception to his body's perfection.

She stood to her feet loving the warm sexual tension sizzling between them, it could lead to something very steamy if he remains this way but thankfully she brought his clothes along.

Her eyes looked around for her tote bag resting on a tree stump, "You need to put your clothes on."

His sapphire eyes glazed over her intently making her insides squirm a little, "Why?" His husky deep voice asked.

"You can't stand the heat," he teased, drawing her close to him.

It felt as though the air was electrified, her body reacting to his presence, she knew she would turn into a puddle if his skin made contact with hers.  He did what she feared and drew her body to meet his taut hard one.

She felt herself turning into mush, her inside in flames as he gently claimed her lips she responded eagerly syncing along with equal passion and desire.

She can't explain just how much she was in love with him. The fact they were mates wasn't the only reason, she could feel her heart thrumming eagerly for him, her cells dancing as his whole existence was what made her anticipate living every single day as long as she had him by her side.

Wanting to tease him, she stopped the kiss abruptly surprising him, a disappointed look crossing his face.

"If you want to kiss me, Nate, you have to put some clothes on."

His eyes glinted mischievously, "I want to do more than that."  She rolled her eyes playfully at the context he used.

Not only was his arousal evident, she felt the sexual tension.

He put on his washed denim jeans leaving his torso bare like those hot male models on magazine covers.

Intertwining his hand with hers, they walked over to the creek. The sounds of rushing water filled her ears, it washed against the little pebbles whose surface has been made smooth over the years. Unlike the pine trees that covered the forest floor blocking the sun rays from reaching the floor, the creek had some openings making the sun lights appear like a glory light.

It was blissful, they needed these moments together as the week ahead was going to be arduous. Nate was getting ready to be the Alpha, the weight of the pack resting slowly on his shoulders.

He has been so busy he hardly sees her, but today was mainly for them. He set out today to ease the yearning they both had for each other and she appreciated it.

In the turn of being the new Alpha, it was a tradition the mate of the Alpha would be the Pack Luna.

The mother of the pack but gossips fly fast in such a knitted environment.

She wasn't capable, most say.

Nathan sensed her thoughts and cupped her face to look at him. She lowered her gaze and tried to avert it but his hold was firm on her face.

"What are you worried about?"He whispered. Concern laced within his eyes.

"I am not worried," she scoffed, trying to make light of the issue.

"Don't lie to me, Kiara." His voice was stern, contrasting with the soft look his face carried.
