28: Emergency Meeting

I froze but decided to know who it could be.

"It may be someone like the beta because I have concluded that the people of Chucks pack lack wisdom and understanding, just like their monarch," I whispered, walking directly to the door.

Upon reaching the door, I heard some murmuring, which caused more fear to creep in; however, I summoned the courage to open it.

"What's even the need for living again? From being an Alpha to being expelled from his pack, even if this would be my death, somehow I think it's good," I muttered, trying to remain strong.
