I held his hand and stared into his eyes with a cold and expressionless look on my face. With a heavy heart, I ignored the pain that burned my throat and said with a cold voice. "Asher, please reject me as your mate,"

What! He gasped out in shock and quickly pulled his hand away from my hand.

He was literally shocked and taken aback by my requests. "What… did she just say…" his voice came in a whisper as he tried to question me.

I looked away as he walked closer to me. He leaned closer to me and sat beside me.

"You heard me, right? Please reject me," I said in a cold tone even though I wish he doesn't accept to reject me.

It's quite sad that I have to ask him to reject me even though he saved me from being raped. I'm grateful but I'm not ready to take risks again. I feel that's the best thing I can do at the moment.

He didn't tell me that he has a girlfriend until I found out that he has a girlfriend. And there's a probability that he'll leave me for her someday so before
