Calian POV

“Again?” Athan beams out to me as he catches the ball perfectly in his hands. We had been playing for some time now and I could tell that he was starting to tire.

“I think that’s enough, you don’t want to overexert yourself.”

“I won’t, I’m feeling much better.” I cannot deny that he was starting to look much better. His face wasn’t as pale; his cheeks were even flushed slightly from our sporting game…something I had given up hope in seeing.
