Author's POV

Cyrus waited patiently in front of his phone. His hands ached to receive the news. The channel had been switched to the news one. When the news hit he wanted to be the first to receive it.

It had been a few hours and nothing yet. He didn't panic, not yet. It took a lot of time wherever they were to reach Dominic. It felt like he could use it to his advantage. Maybe he would find her before Dominic did. Once he did, she would never leave his sight again.

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    A Fragile Return

Author's POVIt had been two days since Sage's return. Dominic physically felt the air in the palace brighten up. He could note that the servants didn't cower back in fear at his mere presence. All throughout her disappearance he had experienced an explosive temper. He had also visited the garden a little more as well as the training room. His soldiers were happy with his presence. Despite all the time he spent making everything good again - like it had been before Sage's return, he hadn't spent as much time as he would like with her. It was always one person or the other spending it instead of him. His mother had begun to spend more time with her, an action that surprised both the maids and he. Whenever he went to her room, she was either sleeping and resting or her mother or his were with her. They both warned him not to stress her too much. Today he decided differently. As a mate, he had fulfilled one goal - getting her back. It didn't matter that they had brought her back thems

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    Found But Not Forgiven

Author's POV The present Dominic's heart raced when he saw who it was. Her eyes slowly opened and he caught them with his. It was her. He stared in both shock and disbelief. He didn't move at first, he was unable to. It looked like a dream. Except it wasn't. Sage sat right in front of him, eyes on him. She had been tied to the chair with ropes. Her eyes moved from him to the men behind him and then back to him. Dominic was both frozen and speechless. He couldn't believe what was happening. “You" he whispered before he realized that it wasn't a dream. It was all real and she was there. He didn't say anything else. Instead he rushed to untie her, heart racing in his chest. As his hands brushed her skin he inhaled deeply. He couldn't believe it was real, that she was real. His body buzzed with both excitement and something he couldn't explain. He had so much he wanted to say but there were no words. Instead he went to untying her legs immediately he was done with her hands. He cou

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The One She Forgot

Author's POV A month AgoThe light was the first thing she noticed as soon as she stepped out of the room. It blinded her, so much so that she had to cover them. It was too much at the same time. Her eyes were still so sensitive. They had been in darkness for so long, they had to get used to the light again. Sage took a deep breath. Her lungs expanded to inhale fresh air. It was as if she had been starved of it after so long. The air outside suddenly felt so new and different. It was like she had been upgraded and already she had begun to forget the stuffiness inside. She shook her hands and marveled at its freeness. She had been tied to a chair for so long. This was indeed freedom for her. Her back ached due to the pain of staying in one place for so long. She didn't know how long anymore. She remained like that for a minute, taking the newness of all of it. Around her, she could feel their stares. They hadn't exactly welcomed her with cheers. In fact they had kidnapped her, a p

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    Behind The Mask

Author's POV Time skip - 1 month Later Dominic didn't even recognize himself anymore as he stared in the mirror. His bushy beard and eyebrows made him look years older. His eyes had turned darker. He didn't know if it was due to the lack of sleep or the rage that he had been holding in. Nothing had changed. He had searched for weeks, those weeks had turned into a month. Yet, he remained with one fact - Sage had been taken and he hadn't found her. He had no progress anywhere else, not even with what he had found out. He looked at his messages like he expected one but of course there was none. Elias had kept men watching the mountains. The warehouse had been monitored. No new messages had come from those that had her. Dominic couldn't stand himself anymore. He stepped back and left his bathroom back to his room. He closed his eyes and let the darkness take him away. He didn't know where it would go, as long as it was far away. That was all he needed. He woke up sweating a moment l

It felt like he could use it to his advantage. Maybe he would find her before Dominic did. Once he did, she would never leave his sight again. Several hours passed by but nothing happened. The news stayed on the repetitive boring news they had been on for days. It confused him and when he looked at Theon, it confused him as well. Finally he asked, “What do you think? Did he keep it away from the media?” He wasn't sure. It didn't seem possible, they were all day. Theon shrugged, he looked just as confused. "I'm not sure. Unless-” Cyrus didn't wait for him to finish. He picked his phone up and dialed the number he was used to. It took a couple rings but final

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    The Weight Of Truth

Author's POV As Dominic walked back to his office, his mind went back to all that he had learned. He was feeling both confusion and disbelief. He didn't believe that he could do what they said he had done. How could he have been so unnecessarily cruel?Still, he tried to remember those days. He remembered the rage and anger he had felt. He knew how much he had despised losing his father. He could feel that rage on some days. It made him wonder if in that rage he had signed that decree. He had principles, Dominic knew that. He didn't pride himself as a righteous or great king. Still, he knew that he hadn't put his father's rule to shame. He hadn't done anything that made anyone look down on his rule. But this, if he had done this - it would stain his legacy forever. He had no idea how he had been unaware of this for so long. How could he have been living peacefully with the knowledge that he had wiped a whole pack out? Except it didn't like he had wiped all of them. There was someo

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    What Was Given To Me

Sage's POV I opened my eyes to the darkness. It had been a while since I had slept off, something had woken me up. I didn't know what and when I looked around there was nobody. It took me a while for my eyes to get used to the darkness. Finally, once I was accustomed, I stood up from the bed and

  • The Lycan King's Pregnant Healer    What The King Would Not Surrender

Dominic's POV My body shook with restlessness. It had been nearly four days and I hadn't laid eyes on her. Her scent eluded me and it was just the faint farness of her presence that kept me going. The past few days had been hectic and I had to spend them away from the pack. The council meeting ha

Dominic’s POV “One more thing!” I said, stopping Keisha in his tracks. He turned back to me. “No one must find out about this. For now.” I added. He acknowledged with a nod, “Yes your majesty!” I buried my head back in the stack of files on my desk. One of the files at the other end of the tab
