Exhaling my anger and frustration, I looked in the direction of the pack house. We were far enough that normal wolves wouldn’t be able to see it, but I wasn’t normal. I could see through the trees and the branches as if the pack house was a few feet away rather than miles. I focused my hearing to the house.
