It was safe to say I had become best friends with a psychotic, evil pregnant woman who enjoyed watching people squirm. Zaliver AzralaI shut the door and stood behind it. I heard her movements on the bed and my name that was cursed out in anger. Staring blankly at the wall, my mind was racing with hundreds of thoughts.Who knew such a small brown-haired beauty could drive me crazy? While I did feel a bit wretched, I mainly felt an odd sense of ease knowing she was trapped in my room. It was wrong, no doubt, but it felt so right. She made me chain her to the bed. Exhaling my anger and frustration, I looked in the direction of the pack house. We were far enough that normal wolves wouldn’t be able to see it, but I wasn’t normal. I could see through the trees and the branches as if the pack house was a few feet away rather than miles. I focused my hearing to the house. My hearing and awareness of everything around me was so amplified that when I tuned into something, it was almost as if I were a ghost, as if I were actually there.Hearing past the TV’s, music, fighting and happy couples, the sleeping and chatting wolves, I moved my hearing to the section where I knew my room was located and listened in on what Vivian was doing.
