Chapter 82 - Who?

Carson POV

I watched as the man, Alex, leapt forward and wrapped his hand around the individual’s throat. I was still confused and could not see who had entered, but I heard the growl that came from Alex. He was in fight mode, and was pushing the individual up against the wall, lifting them so their feet were dangling.

“Alex, what are you doing?” Marly screamed, as the King pushed both the Queen and Marly behind him. “He is protecting us,” the King replied, as he moved forward to support Alex. I pushed the blankets back, trying to swing my legs over the side of the bed, but it was no use. I could not move.

“THEY ARE A TRAITOR!!!” Alex roared as I called for Marly to help me. With all the commotion I could not get her attention. “Alex, you have made a mistake,” Marly insisted, as Alex kept holding the individual. I could hear them gasping for air but I could not do anything to help the situation.

I captured her lips for a lingering kiss, until someone pounded on the bathroom door.
