Chapter 10

I woke up because of a shout. I opened my eyes. My twins are arguing.

"I know that father was here last night, Kenzo!" My daughter cried.

"It was just your imagination; Dad is not here. He works from afar, like what Tito Earl told us," he answered his twin. Kenzo turned his back on his twin sister.

"I know it's him. It's not just my imagination. I saw him. He is here; he visits us. Because he loves us." Her eyes start to water as if she is going to cry at any moment.

"He doesn't. He didn't love us. In fact. He denied us. He doesn't accept us," my son said seriously.

"You're lying," my daughter cried. "He loves us," she whimpered.

"That's enough!" I scolded them.

"Mom!" She ran to me, crying. "Dad loves us, right? He just worked so far away," Nichole said, sobbing to me.

I hug my daughter. I don't know what to say. Because if they have a question about their father, Earl answers them.

"Baby, listen to me. Go dress; I will be in the park and have a tour. How about that?" I deviate
