Chapter 4

Ayiesha POV

I woke up, an unfamiliar room. Where am I again now? I just combed my hair. Why do I always get involved in this?

I stood up and was about to open the door, but the door didn’t open.

“Hey! Is there anyone there? Please help me!” I shout from within.

But no one seemed to hear me. Why did I come here? What I remember is that I was walking when a van stopped in front of me and they forced me into that van.

I just sat on the bed. Why is my life like this? Am I unlucky?

Third Person POV

“Adelaine just makes our job easier,” a man smiled as he puffed smoke from his cigarette.

“That woman is smart. We easily got Terrence Alvarez’s wife because of her.”

“Because she’s a fool. She’s just making herself a fool because of that man.” Smile at all.

“Let Alvarez know. He’s definitely struggling to find his wife.”

“Okay! Right away.”

The man stood up and dialed his phone. He is now busy talking on the other line. While I was busy with what to do with Alvarez’s wife.

Terrence POV

“Have you found Ayiesha yet?” I asked one of my men.

“Not yet, Sir,” he replied.

“Shit, where are you, love? Where the hell are you now!” I was worried.

“Sir, someone is calling!”

I immediately picked up the phone and answered. “Hello!”

“Alvarez, Alvarez, your wife is with us. Give us what we want,” he said. “Or else. Your wife will be dead tomorrow.” I clenched my fist.

“Shit, fuck! Who are you!” I shouted. From the other line. But no one is on the other line now.

“What’s happening, dude? Why are you shouting?” Ezekiel asked me.

“They kidnapped Ayiesha,” I replied.

“What!” Shocked was written on his face. “Who took him?” he asked me.

“I don’t know. Maybe one of the enemies of our organization. They’re taking advantage of what happened to Ayiesha and me. Because they know it’s easy to get Ayiesha. If I’m not by her side.” My fists are clenched. Whoever did it. They need to hide. Because I won’t let them live.

Ayiesha POV

I was out of breath too, but I needed to run. I escaped earlier to my kidnapper. I don’t know them. I still keep running now. I don’t know where exactly I am. There was a forest.

I stopped at a tree first.

“There, look at it,” shouted one man chasing me. I squeezed myself even harder into the trunk of the big tree where I was hiding now.

“We have to find that woman. Boss will kill us,” the man said.

I just held it to my chest. I don’t know where my feet will take me, and I am tired of running. Gathering my little strength, I immediately went to a part of the forest.

I rested for a while first. “There she is” shout from the men who are chasing me.

I look at it. They ran immediately. I ran where I was supposed to run. I didn’t know that there was a cliff. I stumbled and rolled over. My body was tired, and I was going to roll down the cliff. When I stopped spinning, I immediately stood up. But my body hurts a lot.

I gasped. There was a wide creek where I was. I don’t know where this part is. Tried to stand up, even though my body hurt, I continued to walk.

I just follow the flow of the creek. Until I get out. I saw a highway. When a car approached, I immediately stopped it. Even before the car approached, I fell and lost consciousness.

Terrence POV

“Is everything READY!” I shouted at my men.

“Yes, Sir!” they shouted.

“Make sure we will rescue Ayiesha,” I ordered them.

“Yes, sir.”

“Go ready,” I told them all.

“You’re still gambling. Even though you know Ayiesha is no longer there?” Carlo asked me.

“I have to, Carl. I will roam the entire mountain there. Just to find Ayiesha. I won’t stop,” I said to him. My attention remained on the gun as I assembled. I am desperate now. I want to find my wife.

I know Ayiesha is gone, where she is hiding now. But it is necessary to ascertain where Ayiesha went.

“Move!” I command them all. “We need to hurry!” I said to my men,

I was ahead of them. My other men followed me. I got in my car. Soon we were on our way to the mountain where they took Ayiesha.

We traced Ayiesha. Well, the base track location is on a mountain in it.

Third Person POV

“FOOLS. Just one woman escaped? You’re stupid!” their boss shouts at the men, who are guarding Ayiesha.

“Suddenly the woman disappeared, boss!”

“Disappeared? You mean, you all are idiots. Get out of my sight.” He dismissed his men.

“Enough, your BP might go up,” the woman said.

“If I only knew that woman could escape. I wish I had tightened my guard,” he said with a smirk.

“That woman really has a cat's life. She won't die.”

“Fuck. Why is my plan always ruining? I know Alvarez is coming here.” Her eyebrows rose.

“Will he still come here? Even if his wife is no longer here? Will he commit a suicide?”

I turned to the woman. My forehead furrowed. Why not? She and Ayiesha look like the woman, Alvarez's wife.

“You were the replacement of Ayiesha Alvarez.” The man smiled at the woman.

“Are you out of your mind? You’re planning to kill me!” the woman said angrily and wanted to cry.

“You’re just going to pretend,” the man said to the woman in front of him.

You know a lot, this is the time to shut you up.

“I might die there. I don’t want to die yet!” She wants to cry. She isn’t a puppet that will follow what he said.

“Don’t worry. You won’t die.” The man's smile and her.

Terrence POV

WE ARRIVED at the place where they put Ayiesha. The house is so quiet; it looks abandoned. My men have dispersed. They took their places one by one.

“Alvarez.” A man calls me. My forehead furrowed. I don’t know the man in front of me now. That man came out from that house.

“Who are you? Where is my wife?”

Even though I knew Ayiesha wasn’t here. I still looked at her.

“Relax. Alvarez. You’ll see your wife soon, but that is the afterlife,” he said with a laugh.

“Get my wife out.”

He lost his smile. “It’s not that easy, Alvarez. You need to beg. Before I’ll give you your wife.”

I smirk. “You, wish. I never beg.”

The smirk disappeared on his lips. “Get the woman out.”

“Let me go!” the cry of a woman.

My eyebrows rose. “What do you think of me? Stupid? Even though they look alike, that’s not my wife,” I said seriously. I put both my hands in my pocket. Impressive. I looked at the woman. She really looks like Ayiesha.

But no, I know my wife too well. I didn’t love Ayiesha for nothing.

“That’s your wife, Alvarez,” he insisted. That woman is looking like my wife.

“Why do you seem to know who my wife is?”

“Don’t talk too much, Alvarez. My time is too precious.”

“What do you want? In exchange for my supposed wife,” I ask him sarcastically.

“Your position and your head.”

“You think you’ll get it? Dream on!” I tease him.

“Kill that woman,” he ordered his men.

“Wait, there’s no point in killing me!” cry of the woman.

The man pulled out a gun and shot the woman in the head.

“There, your wife is now gone.” She smiled at me. But I just looked at him seriously.

“You ruined her life. My wife really isn’t here, is he?” I was able to question him.

He grinned. “You know. Why did you even come here?”

“To know you. Who kidnapped my wife? But I don’t know. So my men will take care of you. You waste my precious time,” I said to him, before turning my way to my car.

But before I got into my care. I stop and talk to Craige. “Craige. You take care of it. I'm still looking for Ayiesha.” When I said that, I left immediately.

Craige knew they could handle that. I have confidence in my men.
