CHAPTER 9

Sofia and the squad were back at their base after cutting their shopping trip short. She taught to herself that she was mad for having considered to go out after the punishment she received yesterday. Bianca and Alexia could hardly move properly but here she was parading about.

Sofia was in pain alright, but she kept the pain hidden so not to satisfy Madam Lee. She hated that woman and that woman hated her just as much. She walked quickly so that nobody could stop and talk to her because she was not in the mood for socialising with anyone.  Unfortunately, Sofia was not in luck because she came face to face with Master Carlos, who looked like a hurt puppy. She wanted to ignore him, but she knew she could not because he was her superior.

Sofia stared at him and proceeded to bow her head in respect and greeted him civilly.

“Good day, Master Carlos.” Sofia said with no hint of emotion in her tone.
