Talia's POV: I rolled over and frowned when I noticed thatMatteo's body was no longer next to mine. I sat up for a minute and collected all my thoughts, yesterday was a good day. Now that I know it's Matteo's child, I feel like I can finally breathe and almost enjoy the journey this pregnancy will bring to us.
Matteo's POV: I ran my hands through my hair a few times and tried to go over what I would be saying to Clarissa, Alessio's wife. I felt a certain type of responsibility to tell Clarissa about what had happened earlier this morning. Alessio wouldn't be dead right now if I had been able to catch this bastardo already.

Matteo's POV: It was about 4 in the morning and I was just entering the car now. Talia had managed to convince me to stay with her until she fell asleep. The drive back to the Manor was extremely long. I was running on sleep from the previous day before and now I had to drive for five hours.
