CHAPTER 22: THE LETTER

As Natasha slowly opened her eyes, the bright sunlight streamed through the window, causing a stabbing sensation in her head. Trying to gather her thoughts, she felt a throbbing headache that sent waves of pain pulsating through her forehead.

Struggling to sit up, Natasha scanned the room and recognized that she was in her room. For some reason, she thought she would be at the Sinclair Mansion. For the past couple of weeks, Natasha locked herself in her room, crying day and night, asking herself the same question over and over again: ‘why does it hurt so much?’

But today she felt better, she felt like she was almost ready to move on, but deep down she knew she was very far from it. At least she was ready to leave the room.
