Did I almost kiss her? It would be stupid of me if I did. But she looks nice though. The black dress and her natural face. It's a fresh sight to see. When I was in California, most girls in my school always wears a lot of makeup. They never go out to show their natural face. I think they are embarrassed at their own face.

I sat next to my mom and Valerie sat next to her mom so we're facing each other. We start pilling our plate with the food on the table.

"The food is very delicious Mrs. Williams," Valerie said. I agree with her the food is delicious as usual.

"Thank you dear and please call me Miranda. I feel old if you call me Mrs. Williams."

"Okay, Mrs. Wi- I mean Miranda,"  Valerie said shyly.
