"Val," I looked up and saw Julia is making her way to my locker. I smile and waved my hand to her. She then stood in front of me looking excited. "You look radiant, what’s the matter?"
"I found the perfect dress for me yesterday." I raised my eyebrow at her. "You are excited because of a dress?"
"Yeah but my excitement is mainly because of a certain someone."
"Who’s that person?"
"I met a cute guy yesterday at the mall and we just clicked." She said excitedly. I looked at her surprised but broke into a smile. "Well I am happy for you Julia," I hugged her. "Thank you, I will bring him to meet you guys sometimes or we can go out on a double date, how’s that?

Opening my wardrobe, I took the clothes that I first laid my eyes on. A pair of skinny jeans and a white hoodie. Wearing my white sneakers, I grab my bag from the couch and sling it to my shoulder. After I'm done, I head downstairs to the kitchen. Dad is facing the stove making breakfast. I plopped down the stool. "Morning dad,""Morning sweetie." I saw the students from our school painted their cheeks yellow and black. They also wear basketball jerseys. Same as our school rival, the leopards.

Valerie Hernandez 54-56 The Whales are currently leading the score. The Whale Coast students are cheering for the Whales. They only have 20 minutes left before halftime.
