After lunch a rather embarrassing but fun lunch, Abby, Tommy and Craig walked me to the library. Since it was Monday, Patrick was already there, waiting for me. I was relieved to see him. He grinned when he spotted us. I grinned back at him. He made me feel safe, kind of like a big brother.
"Nice to see you all." Patrick greeted all of us and I was happy to see that he knew Tommy and treated him as equals.
I knew that pack hierarchy was complicated and needed but I wasn't okay with someone being treated badly just by being born an omega.
