The White wolf bled, it's a night when the world stood still: The wind dared not whisper, the ancient pines of Cliffwood seemed frozen. No one moved, no creature crawled, even the moon , hung frozen in the sky.

At the centre stood Amelia, the Alpha of the Cliffwood pack, the last of the white wolf dynasty. Her silver hair flowed wildly down her back, streaked with crimson, her eyes, a glowing gold like flame in the darkness. At her feet lay the aftermath of a bloody war…bodies of rebels, rogue wolves littered the ground and their blood which cannot be touched by anyone.

The survivors knelt before the Alpha, their heads bowed, in reverence, not obligation because what they just witnessed, was power beyond what they could comprehend.

But even legends fall.

The final battle came without warning.

Not just rogues.

Not just traitors.

But it was something worse.

An alliance. Greedy for her power, Afraid of what she represented, they came at dawn, unannounced, subtly and attacked the Cliffwood pack.

The smoke ascending from the burnt Cliffwood pack turned the sky black , and the earth trembled beneath the clash of power. Warriors fought, bled, died—but none shone brighter, fiercer, more unstoppable than Amelia.

She moved swiftly like a storm unhindered.

Every strike was deadly.

Every step, for victory

But sometimes even the storms can be overwhelming.

Blood dripped from the sides of her lips as she dropped to her knee, her body, weak, exhausted, was finally betraying her. The ground she stood on was soaked—hers blood and theirs—but they didn't stop coming.

They kept trooping in, in large numbers, fiercely, unafraid for their lives.

Across the battlefield, she saw them—her pack, her warriors, fighting bravely and willing to die, they believed in her.

Her fingers curled into the earth.

No.

This would not be their end.

Amelia slowly rose, with all difficulty.

The air shifted, the ground shook, the wind dared not whisper.

Something within, deeper—older than her—answered the call.

Her golden eyes flared, brighter than ever before, illuminating the battlefield like a sun in its intensity.

“If the price is giving up my life…” she whispered.

Then so be it.

The power that surged from her this time was different.

Final.

Absolute.

Blinding light swallowed everything.

A scream tore from the sky itself as the explosion of her aura consumed the battlefield—enemies, flames, even the very air—erasing all in its path.

And in the midst of the ruin…

Amelia laid, eyes half shut, ethereal but dying….

…The wind howled through the tower of Cliffwood packed with aches. The night was cold and restless, its stillness carrying grief in its breath. The sky was clothed in a dark and moonless dryness. It was only cloudy, dark heavy clouds that swallowed any little hint of light.

Everything seemed not to be… right, it was too quiet, too still as if the earth had stopped rotating around its orbit, as if the world held its breath.

A woman laid among them, on a bed of silver leaves and a group of men clad in warrior attire and their sheath drawn by their side. Elders cloaked in black fur and the sorrow in their heart blended with the darkness of the sky. No one spoke above whispers. Even the wind softens when its blazing noise passes through the sacred ground.

The White Wolf.

She's magnificent, despite dying, her fur shimmered like the bright star on a full moon breaking through the very core of darkness. She wasn't just a leader, she was their protector, she was a power to be reckoned with. She has built a legacy, she was the last blood in the dynasty of the white wolf.

And now…she was dying, her breath gradually slipping away. A wave of fear swept through the crowd, such fear that lingers for decades or even centuries, such fear that is transferred to the unborn generation, it was raw and suffocating, deeper than the cut of a sword.

What were they afraid of, it's the fact that if she could fall…what is their hope, what is the future of the Cliffwood pack and how long can they remain strong and powerful?

Just before shutting her eyes forever, she promised, her voice, echoing in the air:

“I shall return to you…I promise you, I shall return to you someday.

My only concern is will you recognise me when I return?”

There was a stillness and quietness that filled the sacred ground.

She paused and breathed hard, as if gathering her remaining strength.

“Without this strength and this royal robe, with a different identity, will you recognise me?” She asked and before anyone could give an answer, her eyes closed into a peaceful forever sleep.

**********

Amelia snapped her eyes open, eyes completely turned into a glowing yellow and gradually returned back to normal. Her body jolted upright, breath ragged, heart slamming violently against her ribs. Beads of sweat clung to her skin, her hands trembling as though they still held the weight of war.

“What now?” He growled. What the heck does she think she was doing? For the second time, she was going to keep him hanging and desiring? “You wanted Amelia and not me. So why should I be pleasing you on her behalf?” Chelsea snapped at him. She's not afraid of him at this point. They're both naked, none is greater than the other. He flared up, his hand moved swiftly as he slapped her across the face. How dare she treat him this way and accuse him of wanting Amelia? She should be grateful that her slippery cunt was still used by him to ease his tension and cum a few times. In all her sword skills and warrior antics, she cannot be compared to the white wolf, to his Amelia who he rejected in his naivety. It's all her fault and her father's. Alpha Kasper pushed her away violently and thundered “Get out of my room this minute before I strangle you!” His dick was still hard and erect, and covered in her wetness. Chelsea struggled to get off the floor painfully. He'

In the Cliffwood pack, Alpha Kasper was gradually calming down. It's been days and no trace of Amelia, not in the pack, forest or woods that surrounds the pack house. Nana was almost fully recovered and Beta Night had suddenly recoiled into his shell. His arrogance has been subdued as everyone in the pack blamed him for the way Amelia was treated. It is now evident that the white wolf, at her death, promised to return, she will reincarnate and when she does, she will return in disguise. She asked if anyone would recognise her then. Beta Night didn't recognise her nor the entire members of the Cliffwood pack. They maltreated her and now, she's gone. And to where exactly, none of them can tell. Now, almost everyone in the pack had returned to their homes. Jointly, it has been fixed and the few ones left are at the verge of completion. One of the first finished ones was the house of Nana, the Pack's healer. Alpha Kasper paid priority to her and ensured her home

“Can we help you, your Highness, to undress?” The maids asked and Amelia was flushed. Help her undress? Hell no! She can do it herself. She doesn't know what she needed them for. “No, thanks. I'm fine and can do it myself” Meanwhile in the sitting room. Everyone left except the immediate family and priestess. The king let Sam also wait because he was not only his Beta but his right hand man and friend. And besides, he knows about everything that happened. There isn't anything he should keep away from her. Turning his gaze on the old woman, the King demanded; “Spill it, priestess!” He ordered. “I told you, your Highness, she needs to be tamed. Your mate is not just the reincarnated white wolf, the last of them but possesses magic as well. She is stronger than I had thought. If witches or other rogue Alphas sensed her power, they'll come for her and steal it away from her. The power is wild and roams around. They aren't settled in her and she has no con

They were quite close but he boycotted her and brought this petite but strikingly beautiful woman home. And the King's choice is the ultimate. As she walked past them, they all bowed before the King and his future Luna. The maids came forward raining rose petals on the King and his future Luna and Amelia felt loved immediately. King Zee felt the excitement in her and he sensed her wolf was happy too. As they stepped in, Amelia's eyes were almost blinded by a blast of joy and wine as heavy rain of rose petals fell on her and King Zee. Her mate held her firmly and paused, surprised at the elaborate reception his mother had prepared for her. As if the surprise wasn't enough, she saw two maid came forward holding a bouquet of flowers and the other held a board with the writing “Welcome home, future Luna Amelia” When she saw it, her eyes welled up with tears and before she could think of pushing the tears back, they already found their way down her cheeks. • The Omega He Rejected    A Warm Reception

As he watches Amelia fall into a deep sleep, the glittering wolf mark on her neck is a pure indication that she's mated to him. He kept his gaze on her as he said “Welcome to the Crescent pack, last of the white wolf” Amelia doesn't know how long she slept but when she woke up, she was alone in the ward. Her things were already arranged and she saw a beautiful dress laid by the side of her bed. She raised herself and stood up. She knew what to do, getting dressed was the next thing. She went into the restroom and glanced at herself in the mirror. The glittering mark by her neck looks beautiful against her milky skin. She liked it, caressing it gently. She is happy that he accepted her. She cannot imagine what it would be like, returning to the Cliffwood pack to face Alpha Kasper and Chelsea. Her only concern is her Nana. She'll ask Zee to help her send a message to the old healer who took her in and because of her, she's alive today. She took a shower an

That evening, King Zee went along with the servant that brought Amelia dinner. She'd really recovered and her eyes were brighter and her gaze sharper than when he visited in the morning. When Amelia saw him, she sat up. Her drip had finished and her body was quite healed and better than in the morning. She bowed slightly before him “Good to see you again Alpha Zee” she said. His presence was announced from a distance. She caught his scent long before he walked in and she was eager that he returned to her. She was worried, if he was going to reject her like Alpha Kasper did. If he did, where would she go then? The servant raised her head and wanted to correct the sick woman that the man before her wasn't just an Alpha, he is one of the rare powerful Lycan and more than that, he is a king but king Zee shut her down “be quiet” he said. He watched as the servant placed the meal by her bedside table and dished her some. “You can go” he ordered and the servant bowed
