The White wolf bled, it's a night when the world stood still: The wind dared not whisper, the ancient pines of Cliffwood seemed frozen. No one moved, no creature crawled, even the moon , hung frozen in the sky.

At the centre stood Amelia, the Alpha of the Cliffwood pack, the last of the white wolf dynasty. Her silver hair flowed wildly down her back, streaked with crimson, her eyes, a glowing gold like flame in the darkness. At her feet lay the aftermath of a bloody war…bodies of rebels, rogue wolves littered the ground and their blood which cannot be touched by anyone.

The survivors knelt before the Alpha, their heads bowed, in reverence, not obligation because what they just witnessed, was power beyond what they could comprehend.

**********

But even legends fall.

The final battle came without warning.

Not just rogues.

Not just traitors.

But it was something worse.

An alliance. Greedy for her power, Afraid of what she represented, they came at dawn, unannounced, subtly and attacked the Cliffwood pack.

The smoke ascending from the burnt Cliffwood pack turned the sky black , and the earth trembled beneath the clash of power. Warriors fought, bled, died—but none shone brighter, fiercer, more unstoppable than Amelia.

She moved swiftly like a storm unhindered.

Every strike was deadly.

Every step, for victory

But sometimes even the storms can be overwhelming.

Blood dripped from the sides of her lips as she dropped to her knee, her body, weak, exhausted, was finally betraying her. The ground she stood on was soaked—hers blood and theirs—but they didn't stop coming.

They kept trooping in, in large numbers, fiercely, unafraid for their lives.

Across the battlefield, she saw them—her pack, her warriors, fighting bravely and willing to die, they believed in her.

Her fingers curled into the earth.

No.

This would not be their end.

Amelia slowly rose, with all difficulty.

The air shifted, the ground shook, the wind dared not whisper.

Something within, deeper—older than her—answered the call.

Her golden eyes flared, brighter than ever before, illuminating the battlefield like a sun in its intensity.

“If the price is giving up my life…” she whispered.

Then so be it.

The power that surged from her this time was different.

Final.

Absolute.

Blinding light swallowed everything.

A scream tore from the sky itself as the explosion of her aura consumed the battlefield—enemies, flames, even the very air—erasing all in its path.

And in the midst of the ruin…

Amelia laid, eyes half shut, ethereal but dying….

…The wind howled through the tower of Cliffwood packed with aches. The night was cold and restless, its stillness carrying grief in its breath. The sky was clothed in a dark and moonless dryness. It was only cloudy, dark heavy clouds that swallowed any little hint of light.

Everything seemed not to be… right, it was too quiet, too still as if the earth had stopped rotating around its orbit, as if the world held its breath.

A woman laid among them, on a bed of silver leaves and a group of men clad in warrior attire and their sheath drawn by their side. Elders cloaked in black fur and the sorrow in their heart blended with the darkness of the sky. No one spoke above whispers. Even the wind softens when its blazing noise passes through the sacred ground.

The White Wolf.

She's magnificent, despite dying, her fur shimmered like the bright star on a full moon breaking through the very core of darkness. She wasn't just a leader, she was their protector, she was a power to be reckoned with. She has built a legacy, she was the last blood in the dynasty of the white wolf.

And now…she was dying, her breath gradually slipping away. A wave of fear swept through the crowd, such fear that lingers for decades or even centuries, such fear that is transferred to the unborn generation, it was raw and suffocating, deeper than the cut of a sword.

What were they afraid of, it's the fact that if she could fall…what is their hope, what is the future of the Cliffwood pack and how long can they remain strong and powerful?

Just before shutting her eyes forever, she promised, her voice, echoing in the air:

“I shall return to you…I promise you, I shall return to you someday.

My only concern is will you recognise me when I return?”

There was a stillness and quietness that filled the sacred ground.

She paused and breathed hard, as if gathering her remaining strength.

“Without this strength and this royal robe, with a different identity, will you recognise me?” She asked and before anyone could give an answer, her eyes closed into a peaceful forever sleep.

**********

Amelia snapped her eyes open, eyes completely turned into a glowing yellow and gradually returned back to normal. Her body jolted upright, breath ragged, heart slamming violently against her ribs. Beads of sweat clung to her skin, her hands trembling as though they still held the weight of war.

When beta Night went along with the royal mother of the Cliffwood pack, they met Nana, blending the herbs and roots of some certain plants together. She didn't even raise her head in acknowledgement of them but kept herself busy. Beta Night thought within himself, didn't this old woman claim to need a week's rest before attending to patients? Why does he feel she was preparing medication already? “Welcome back Nana. I heard you went to a mating ceremony at Crescent pack? How's the Royal mother of all Lunas?” the royal mother asked, creating a friendly atmosphere first. “It was not just anyone's mating ceremony. It was my daughter, Amelia. Her ceremony with King Zee and more than that, the acknowledgement of her as the returned legendary white wolf, the real heiress to the throne of the Cliffwood pack. You have no idea how excited this old woman is right now. I was a little girl when I witnessed a fraction of her powers. She's stronger than ten lycans put togethe

In Cliffwood pack, Alpha Kasper couldn't spend the night peacefully. On one hand is his Luna Chelsea Night, fighting the battle of her life. And on the other, the mate he rejected. The Omega He rejected has turned out to be one of those who once occupied the throne of the Cliffwood pack. During her reign, no one knows that pack, Crescent. The Cliffwood pack was the strongest and the white wolf was the Alpha who rules over all Alphas. She subdued Alphas and brought packs under her feet. Now that she'd returned and came in such a disguise, he rejected her. As it is, he knows he is not on par with her when it comes to the battle of the Alphas. That once weak Amelia is now the strongest she-wolf he'd ever seen in a contest. And if Chelsea can go down so easily before her, it only means he is no match for her as well. What can he do to get her back? Alpha Kasper's thought was interrupted by the sudden outburst of Beta Night “Alpha Kasper, Chelsea might n

  • The Omega He Rejected    Intimate moments

Their lips, still glued together in unison. None seemed to let go of the other. Amelia doesn't know where she got her desire from, but she was like a drunken woman, who had no self control over how she was acting at the moment. But king Zee knows. He knows just why his Luna has no restraint, his mother was to be blamed for that, but there's no need dwelling on that. He kissed her lips, her collarbone and when he kissed her cleavage, Amelia moaned, urging him to take her. Amelia's dress was soon on the floor and her nude body was being ravished beneath the king. He ran his hands over her body, sending waves of desire into her and satisfying his romantic needs. Something unusual happened, Zee has a mate before and he'd gotten intimate with a she-wolf before but as he made his way to possessing Amelia, there was a pull, an uncontrollable force, pulling him like a drunken horse down a steep slope. It was like a magnetic pull, whose force greatly outweighs the object

  • The Omega He Rejected    Amelia, my daughter?

Beta Night bowed his head and turned to leave when Alpha Stone declared “We need to save Chelsea and the only one who can do it is Nana…” Alpha Stone informed. “Can we send a guard to bring her already?” Beta Night asked hurriedly. He was really impatient. This is about his daughter, the only person that gives him happiness. “We would have done that but Nana went to the King's mating ceremony. And she's not back” Former Luna informed, her gaze fixed on the Beta of the pack. He was yet to experience the shock they did. When they learnt who this new Luna is. “She left the pack to attend the King's mating ceremony?” Beta Night asked, glancing from the former Luna to her Alpha mate and back to Alpha Kasper. He didn't expect that the old healer had gotten so famous that she was invited to a union that he wasn't invited to, nor the former leaders of the Cliffwood pack. “Huh,” the former Luna grunted. “Why was she granted such permission when we all

  • The Omega He Rejected    Chelsea is in danger

Alpha Kasper carried Chelsea with all difficulty into the carriage and headed back to Cliffwood pack. He'd come with excitement with his Luna to attend the King's mating ceremony without having an idea of the shock that awaits him. By the time they arrived at the Cliffwood pack, Chelsea couldn't talk anymore. He had her rushed to the hospital but they couldn't bring her back to regaining her strength. “Alpha I suggest you seek the services of one who is vast in the use of herbal medicine in curing conditions like this. Luna's she-wolf has been crippled and her human body is battered. Which will help the other get healed faster?” The doctor explained. Alpha Kasper nodded. He understood beyond the doctor's words. He saw the two she wolves. The white wolf and Chelsea little she-wolf. Chelsea's wolf was like a tiny pup by the side of Amelia's wolf. If he says Amelia has crippled Chelsea's wolf, he'd believe it. It was a mistake for them to fight in their wolf form

  • The Omega He Rejected    Make yourself ready for the king

“A few rogues have been apprehended while trying to escape from the borders” the message from Sam. King Zee squinted. He knew it. There was an intruder who disguised themselves as a guest and came to his mating ceremony. “I'll take you to our chambers…” King Zee trailed off, walking his mate to their chambers. As they stepped in, Amelia's eyes rested on their nuptial bed. It was covered with rose petals and the room was filled with the smell of roses. Amelia blushed. King Zee walked her over to the bed and said “make yourself comfortable and ready for me. I'll attend to a matter of the pack and get back to you” he coaxed, planting a featherlight kiss on her temple before turning around and leaving. The fury in Zee was visibly felt. How dare these rogues act as spies right in his pack, the very place where he was having a ceremony done. He would deal with them and send their remains as a souvenir to the rogue Alpha. As Zee stepped out of the pack house, he
