The White wolf bled, it's a night when the world stood still: The wind dared not whisper, the ancient pines of Cliffwood seemed frozen. No one moved, no creature crawled, even the moon , hung frozen in the sky.

At the centre stood Amelia, the Alpha of the Cliffwood pack, the last of the white wolf dynasty. Her silver hair flowed wildly down her back, streaked with crimson, her eyes, a glowing gold like flame in the darkness. At her feet lay the aftermath of a bloody war…bodies of rebels, rogue wolves littered the ground and their blood which cannot be touched by anyone.

The survivors knelt before the Alpha, their heads bowed, in reverence, not obligation because what they just witnessed, was power beyond what they could comprehend.

But even legends fall.

The final battle came without warning.

Not just rogues.

Not just traitors.

But it was something worse.

An alliance. Greedy for her power, Afraid of what she represented, they came at dawn, unannounced, subtly and attacked the Cliffwood pack.

The smoke ascending from the burnt Cliffwood pack turned the sky black , and the earth trembled beneath the clash of power. Warriors fought, bled, died—but none shone brighter, fiercer, more unstoppable than Amelia.

She moved swiftly like a storm unhindered.

Every strike was deadly.

Every step, for victory

But sometimes even the storms can be overwhelming.

Blood dripped from the sides of her lips as she dropped to her knee, her body, weak, exhausted, was finally betraying her. The ground she stood on was soaked—hers blood and theirs—but they didn't stop coming.

They kept trooping in, in large numbers, fiercely, unafraid for their lives.

Across the battlefield, she saw them—her pack, her warriors, fighting bravely and willing to die, they believed in her.

Her fingers curled into the earth.

No.

This would not be their end.

Amelia slowly rose, with all difficulty.

The air shifted, the ground shook, the wind dared not whisper.

Something within, deeper—older than her—answered the call.

Her golden eyes flared, brighter than ever before, illuminating the battlefield like a sun in its intensity.

“If the price is giving up my life…” she whispered.

Then so be it.

The power that surged from her this time was different.

Final.

Absolute.

Blinding light swallowed everything.

A scream tore from the sky itself as the explosion of her aura consumed the battlefield—enemies, flames, even the very air—erasing all in its path.

And in the midst of the ruin…

Amelia laid, eyes half shut, ethereal but dying….

…The wind howled through the tower of Cliffwood packed with aches. The night was cold and restless, its stillness carrying grief in its breath. The sky was clothed in a dark and moonless dryness. It was only cloudy, dark heavy clouds that swallowed any little hint of light.

Everything seemed not to be… right, it was too quiet, too still as if the earth had stopped rotating around its orbit, as if the world held its breath.

A woman laid among them, on a bed of silver leaves and a group of men clad in warrior attire and their sheath drawn by their side. Elders cloaked in black fur and the sorrow in their heart blended with the darkness of the sky. No one spoke above whispers. Even the wind softens when its blazing noise passes through the sacred ground.

The White Wolf.

She's magnificent, despite dying, her fur shimmered like the bright star on a full moon breaking through the very core of darkness. She wasn't just a leader, she was their protector, she was a power to be reckoned with. She has built a legacy, she was the last blood in the dynasty of the white wolf.

And now…she was dying, her breath gradually slipping away. A wave of fear swept through the crowd, such fear that lingers for decades or even centuries, such fear that is transferred to the unborn generation, it was raw and suffocating, deeper than the cut of a sword.

What were they afraid of, it's the fact that if she could fall…what is their hope, what is the future of the Cliffwood pack and how long can they remain strong and powerful?

Just before shutting her eyes forever, she promised, her voice, echoing in the air:

“I shall return to you…I promise you, I shall return to you someday.

My only concern is will you recognise me when I return?”

There was a stillness and quietness that filled the sacred ground.

She paused and breathed hard, as if gathering her remaining strength.

“Without this strength and this royal robe, with a different identity, will you recognise me?” She asked and before anyone could give an answer, her eyes closed into a peaceful forever sleep.

**********

Amelia snapped her eyes open, eyes completely turned into a glowing yellow and gradually returned back to normal. Her body jolted upright, breath ragged, heart slamming violently against her ribs. Beads of sweat clung to her skin, her hands trembling as though they still held the weight of war.

  • The Omega He Rejected    The end… or a new beginning

Six months later Everyone was assembled in front of the door that held a lot of screams and hope. Nana, king Zee's parents, Beta Sam and Siera, Mira and Emile, and an agitated king Zee. So far, Amelia was in there with the flock of medical practitioners that king Zee had insisted would be there during the birth of their pup. “I should be in there with her. Why did I agree to wait for five minutes before going in?” He murmured as he continued to pace back and forth. making almost everyone dizzy. “Probably so you would not make her as dizzy as you are making some of us with your pacing” Beta Sam said. King Zee growled and looked at him and Beta Sam raised his hands in surrender and stood up. “She will be fine. Everything will be fine. She is a very strong woman and an even stronger wolf” Beta Sam said, trying to calm king Zee down. “Even though the pup she is birthing a pup that is a breed of the two strongest kinds of wolves?” He asked him. “Yes, even though she is. She is g

“What are you talking about? You have not even mentioned that time we spent together since that day. So I thought that-” He interrupted her, “so you thought what? That I did not care? That I did not want to take you as many times as I did the last time?” He asked her. “Sierra, I have pushed away some women from my life because I moved too fast with them. Do you know how hard it has been to speak to you everyday after that day and not say anything about it? About how I felt and how you made me feel? I wanted to give you your space to think about what happened that day. So you would also be sure that it did not just happen because of our fear of death like you claimed when I told you that I loved you. And look around you, Sierra. Everything is a mess. I wanted to make sure that when I told you that I loved you again, that you would trust it. That you would see that it is not driven by the residual fear of war but the fear of losing you. I love you, Sierra. I fucking love yo

  • The Omega He Rejected    Rewriting History

Amelia mind linked king Zee and told him of her next destination and he immediately sent some warriors for back up even though he knew that Amelia could get rid of ten thousand warriors on her own, he was still scared of the poison, because he had not known that she was already over it. Amelia was now driven by anger at Alpha Kasper's audacity to think he could end her. With the rogue Alpha of all people? She was pissed. When she got to the Crescent pack, she began flinging the warriors away like flies and some even tried to run for their lives, no longer caring to fight. But she did not care, she killed everyone that came in her path. Even if they survived, she did not need them as her warriors when she took over her throne, so they were useless. “Kasper!” Amelia roared loudly as she got to Alpha Kasper's house. The walls trembled and everyone that was in or around the royal house ran out in scattered patterns in fear. She saw his parents, but they were not her concern at tha

The fight went on for a long time. Although they were winning, they were also losing their warriors. When the rogue alpha saw that victory was not on his side, he turned around and ran. Amelia spotted him and immediately began to go after. “Amelia, no. I will not let you go alone. This could be a trap” King Zee mind linked her. But Amelia insisted, “your warriors are dying. You have to stay and fight. Beta Sam is already making sure that they do not extend further to the rest of the pack but you have to stay. And you know it” she said. King Zee watched her wolf run into the forest and was almost caught off guard by two wolves that plunged toward him. He moved swiftly and pulled their heads together, causing them to hit each other's head, and taking themselves out. Beta Sam mind linked king Zee, “I have been injured” he said. “What? Sam? Sam!” He said into the mind link as he looked around for Beta Sam. He was nowhere to be seen. “I can continue fighting. Amelia has gone to fi

The noise finally came to her and they moved past with great speed that if they were not so much, she would not have seen them. “Rogues,” she said to herself. “They are headed for the pack” she said and slowly let her body give in to the demand of sleep and rested her head on the tree. “This is my life now. I need to get used to it until I die. Which could even be now” she said to herself as she adjusted her neck on the wall and the tears came flooding down again. Sierra, Mira and Emille watched king Zee, Amelia and Beta Sam walk out together in full armour accompanied by a multitude of warriors. With some already on the battlefield, and others waiting for command. “Do you think they will be okay?” Mira asked no one in particular. “I hope they all make it back safely,” Emile said. And Sierra felt the guilt from her last conversation with Beta Sam sink in, “He promised to come back,” she said. Her sister hugged her tightly as they watched them get onto their horses. • The Omega He Rejected    Preparation for war and pre-war sex

Amelia and king Zee walked out of the home office with full armour, with Amelia in the one that was prepared for her a long time ago. “I know that you are a warrior. In your past life and even now. I also know that I can not keep you in this palace forever because of fear. So you need this, so that when the time comes, you will be ready” he said to her on the first day the armour was brought to them. Everyone in the household was moving quickly but in eerie silence. They had gotten the code drill and were following all protocols to make sure that no one came in or out of the house just in case. King Zee mind linked his parents and told them that he was leaving. He had told them of the attack, and since he was now leaving with his mate, they had to protect themselves in the house. “...we will be back,” he finished and said goodbye to his parents. King Zee and Amelia went to the spy and told him what needed to be done. But there were more problems to be met. The former spy expla

“Oh no, you will come along with me. If not for the ceremony, you'll help me with my bag. My old shoulders should have a relief with you around” Nana insisted. She just wants Amelia to have this experience of a lifetime. Who knows, if she never gets a chance to witness another. “But y

Half an hour later, Amelia returned to the house, her clothes drenched and plastered against her thin body. Her golden coloured hair dripped water and she stood with her head bowed. Nana saw her and sighed softly. She'd been bullied again. That has always been Amelia's fate since she was a chi

Nana rushed over, her aged body moved swiftly as it could carry her and tapped Amelia on her shoulders. The sudden jolting of her body had awakened her and she just was in time to see her eyes return back to normal from its yellowish colour. She saw her skin covered in sweat and she knew, i
