I wondered what Vladimir was speaking about. Why was he talking about Alpha Keegan to his father?

Well… why did I care? I didn’t want him to notice me and think I was eavesdropping again, so I tiptoed my way out of his presence, returning to my search for Chloe.

After searching around for her, yet to no avail, I retreated to the bedroom and fell on the bed, spreading my arms out.

I wondered what was going on in Alpha Keegan’s head. What did he think of me now? Was he going to think I was crazy for flirting with him? Was he going to figure out my intention for doing so? Gosh, I needed help.

“Are there more volunteers?” I asked Shane.

He scanned the list of names on his notebook with the head of his pen before shaking his head negatively. “Not anymore. There aren’t new people being added to the pack like before.”

“Yes, I also noticed that. It's a good thing, in a way.” I shrugged one shoulder. “What else do we need to do?”

“Just training the new weaker
