I still wondered what had gotten into my omega last night. She was acting really strange. Why was she flirting? Did she really take my dominance and possessiveness seriously? I couldn’t understand why I had overreacted at the dinner. Seeing Vladimir’s hands on her thighs and how much it made her happy had made my blood boil in degrees higher than I could imagine.

‘She’s our mate, remember?’ Drex interrupted my thoughts.

‘Not at all. We’ll only make her ours to get back at her for the rejection.’

‘She’s still our mate nevertheless. We can’t possibly run away from having a mate forever, can we?’

I intentionally ignored his question. I personally didn’t want to know the answer to that question either.
