“Move to your room? No way, Alpha. What if you kill me in my sleep?” I didn’t know why or how I was able to utter that?

“Kill you in your sleep?” He frowned, retracting his hands from my shoulders. “If I wanted you dead, I’d have done that with the multiple chances I had.”

“I can manage here on my own. Thank you for your kindness.” I forced out, bowing my head.

Something hit the window and made me flinch, clinging to his shoulders for support.

“You’re scared of an ordinary bird, how do you expect to survive on your own?” he lifted his brows at me, with a 'seriously, omega' look.

“I was only startled.” I pulled away from him, still frowning. Why on Earth would he care about whether or not someone killed me when he almost wanted me dead? “I can manage on my own. I don’t need sympathy.” I gruffed. Girl, you definitely want yourself dead.
