Himari’s POV.

Of all mistakes I could’ve made, why did I end up attracting such a malignant Demon?

Once again, I’ve hit such bad luck and death refuses to desist from my shadows. Looking at the cruel mischief sitting on his sinfully attractive face, I let out a hefty sigh of resignation. Probably, it meant that for me to have a better life than this, I needed to give up the life I’m living in other to fulfill the prerequisite to attaining a new one.

I smile through my tears as I rasp airily, “Go ahead...bring an end to my misery, Demon”. It’s not like a girl like me can go against such a fearsome creature like him. I was only lucky that night and lucks aren’t reoccurring.

“There’s no fun ending something with such sickening self-abasement” His face contorts into a dark rage and I yelp, being thrown to the floor. I smack my body so heavily, falling on my back with a painful cry.
