Chapter 42

~Mark's P.O.V~

When Lilly and I get downstairs, Steven is untying Sienna's hands. She looks up at us with a tear stained face. Once she's free, she rushes to Lilly and falls at her feet. Head down she tries to control her crying. When she finally does, she speaks so lowly, it's almost hard to hear.

"Please forgive me. I am so sorry for what I've done. I didn't want to to it but he's my mate and Alpha. It's no excuse I know but I am truly sorry." She keeps her head down.

I look at Lilly and see that she is staring at the young girl at her feet. She takes a deep breath and simply says, "I am not the one you need to apologize to. I am not the one you should ask for forgiveness from."

Sienna looks up at her and then looks at me. She goes to open her mouth and I cut her off.
