~Lilly's P.O.V~Waking up the next morning I feel refreshed. Yesterday went better than expected. Arthur has had it out for my family for awhile. ~Mark's P.O.V~I wake up feeling something wet and cold on my chest. I look up to see Lilly drooling on me. Gross. I laugh and try to slide out from under her as gently as possible. Once I'm out from under her, I head to the bathroom and grab some Tylenol and a glass of water and set it on the bedside table for when she wakes up. ~Mark's P.O.V~Steven and I jolt up standing when we hear someone scream. We both instantly take off towards the house rushing up the stairs. I burst through the bedroom door, making Lilly and Allie jump. "What is it? What's wrong?" Allie just looks at me with a big smile on her face and her hands behind her back. When we arrive to Anthony's, Steven and I both look at each other. In such a short amount of time, the place lost its shine. It looked run down and if it wasn't for the structure holding everything up, it looked like it would fall apart. We get out of the car and walk up to the front door where Steven knocks. No answer. I've been on my own for 5 years after my parents were killed by my old Alpha. He was a cruel man. He killed my parents just because they were Omega's. He always said all omega's were good for was cleaning and cooking. In his eyes we weren't even part of the pack, just slaves for the more important wolves. Not everyone shared his view though. Other wolves from the pack would often show us kindness but they would get rewarded with berating and beatings. We were scum. After awhile others wouldn't be as kind to us anymore. They wouldn't treat us like dirt but they wouldn't step in to protect us anymore either. Just pitty looks, which we understood.
