~Mark's P.O.V~Steven and I jolt up standing when we hear someone scream. We both instantly take off towards the house rushing up the stairs. When we arrive to Anthony's, Steven and I both look at each other. In such a short amount of time, the place lost its shine. It looked run down and if it wasn't for the structure holding everything up, it looked like it would fall apart. We get out of the car and walk up to the front door where Steven knocks. No answer. He knocks again and after a few moments, a young girl answers the door. "Hello Beta Steven, Alpha Mark. Can I help you?" She says in a small voice. "We need to talk to Alpha Anthony. Can we come in?" I've been on my own for 5 years after my parents were killed by my old Alpha. He was a cruel man. He killed my parents just because they were Omega's. He always said all omega's were good for was cleaning and cooking. In his eyes we weren't even part of the pack, just slaves for the more important wolves. Not everyone shared his view though. ~Now~I get my fire ready for the night, stacking each log in a certain direction so it'll have enough air flow to keep it going all night long. "My Alpha is looking for you." The man says in a gruff voice. "What Alpha? I haven't seen anyone else out here." I try lying. "Don't lie," he growls "You're the only one out here and I caught your scent as we left the clearing. Now come with me." I hold my ground and he huffs. "I will take you by force. "Mark?" "Hmm?""It's me, Lilliana. You hungry?" I jump up realizing I wasn't alone and in the woods. "Shh, it's okay. You're safe." She assures me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Sorry. I, um, haven't been around anyone in a few years." "It's okay. I completely understand. Are you hungry? Dinner was an hour ago but I'm sure the kitchen couple whip you up something." She takes me on a tour of the whole house and it really is bigger on the inside. I feel like I've walked a hundred miles. Maybe I'm just out of shape. Every hunt I've been on, Axel has taken lead. It leaves me a little tired afterwards but walking this much on my own two feet really have me exhausted. She showed me where the activity room was but I doubt I'd ever go in there. I wouldn't know how to use anything. She also showed me where the laundry room and the Omegas quarters were for the ones who decided to live here.
