When we arrive to Anthony's, Steven and I both look at each other. In such a short amount of time, the place lost its shine. I've been on my own for 5 years after my parents were killed by my old Alpha. He was a cruel man. He killed my parents just because they were Omega's. He always said all omega's were good for was cleaning and cooking. In his eyes we weren't even part of the pack, just slaves for the more important wolves. Not everyone shared his view though. Other wolves from the pack would often show us kindness but they would get rewarded with berating and beatings. We were scum. After awhile others wouldn't be as kind to us anymore. ~Now~I get my fire ready for the night, stacking each log in a certain direction so it'll have enough air flow to keep it going all night long. "My Alpha is looking for you." The man says in a gruff voice. "What Alpha? I haven't seen anyone else out here." I try lying. "Don't lie," he growls "You're the only one out here and I caught your scent as we left the clearing. Now come with me." I hold my ground and he huffs. "I will take you by force. "Mark?" "Hmm?""It's me, Lilliana. You hungry?" I jump up realizing I wasn't alone and in the woods. "Shh, it's okay. You're safe." She assures me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "Sorry. She takes me on a tour of the whole house and it really is bigger on the inside. I feel like I've walked a hundred miles. Maybe I'm just out of shape. Every hunt I've been on, Axel has taken lead.
