Violet POV

The engagement

Avery zipped me up in my dress and my hands smoothened over the front of the dress, it was an ankle length satin dress that fit my curves very well, my bump was there, little but if you looked close enough it was there. My hair and makeup had been done properly and i couldn’t help but gush at how bright my face was.

“Are you ready to go?” I asked and turned to Avery who was finishing up on her lips, she posed quickly and aligned herself properly when she found me watching me.

We got in the car, we were already fifteen minutes late. Mother and Jim had already arrived while we stayed back to finish up since we had been tired through the morning.

“Is your speech ready?” Avery asked as the car arrived the venue, of course camera’s and lights were everywhere. I chewed on my buttom lips and turned to the window where i inspected the outside adn grabbed my clutch.

“Yeah, i had to rewrite it”
