Sam was startled that she turned around instantly to look who touched her. Then, she was surprised to see Charles.
“Charles!” She sighed while she held her chest.
“Sorry, did I startle you?” asked Charles when he noticed Sam’s nervous expression.
“Yeah. By the way, I thought you’re busy. What are you doing here?” asked Sam.
“I just told you that because I want to surprise you. Aren’t you surprised?” said Charles with a grin.
