Dylan Ashton
Agh, why am I feeling like this? I don't know anymore. It hit me right back to reality that maybe, I haven't completely moved on with my life. I tried to sleep all these thoughts away as I listened to the soft humming of the birds outside that night.
More than anything, I wouldn't want to hurt Olivia or anyone for that matter. I'm not like my dad and I'm definitely not like Damon.
As I woke up the next day, I immediately took a bath, fixed myself and wore a casual combination of shirt and shorts- a typical summer look. I must say that sometimes, I miss having a stylist around but I didn't care much.
I went inside the convenience store and brought some pasta along with a sweet mango float for my breakfast. I ate with my half-asleep mode, my mood every morning without Olivia.
You know, without her craziness and everything, life gets... a little boring for me. I rubbed my hair and stated softl
Olivia SummersI changed my clothes and went back inside my apartment... I grabbed my binoculars and stared at Dylan inside his room, he's still up and smiling at his phone... it's probably because of what happened earlier.Ah, why do I suddenly feel this way? It hurts. My heart hurts and I know it shouldn't because I should be happy he's happy but... I just can't help but think... can't it be me instead? How selfish of me.I sighed deeply.Suddenly my phone rang, it's an unknown number. I hesitated but I wasn't really in the right mind to overthink who it might be so I picked up with a gloomy voice, "Hello, who's this? Can you call me next time? I'm getting my heart broken here."I was about to end the call but I was taken aback by what the otehr end said to me."I can see that awful face you're making while stalking Dylan with your b
Dylan Ashton After a few more hours of driving, we arrived at the orphanage, Olivia was still sleeping so I decided to wait a while before waking her up.Up close, I never noticed how long her eyelashes were nor how perfect her lips were. Ah, what am I thinking?I rested my chin on my hand as I observed Olivia sleeping- I do realize now that that sounds kind of weird.I chuckled softly as I saw her crinkle her nose a little bit as a speck of wildflower landed on it. I carefully removed it and gently waked her up, I said, "Olivia, we're here."She groaned, still refusing to open her eyes, "What?"Olivia even adjusted her seat to be more comfortable and that made me laugh, I said to her, "Wake up. We're already here.""Five more minutes." She protested, "Let me sleep for 5 more minutes."
Olivia SummersDylan looked at me speechless so I laughed it off and said, "Oh sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable.""No, it's fine but-""Ah, the air feels nice, don't it?" I smiled, "There's nothing like the fresh and warm summer air at the province. Am I right?"Dylan nodded. We finished out ice creams and grocery lists. As we walked our way back, it has been an awkward silence between us.Ah, why did I have to go and ruin the mood? I hate this. I've having a pity party and I'm screwing everything up. How would Dylan like me now? I'm just a mess. But then, my thoughts were cut off as he grabbed my arm and pulled me beside him, he stated, "You might get hit by a car, if you're beside me, then I could protect you.""In that case, you might get hit instead! I can't let that happen! I'll protect you!" I confidently said
Olivia Summers After hours of sitting there admiring the stars, Aunt Lou came out and sat next to me, she said, "What are you doing here all alone? It's cold outside."I smiled, "It is but the view makes it all worth it.""At least bring a blanket." Aunt Lou pulled out one and wrapped me in it, she nagged like a mom, "You know you get colds easily.""It's summer." I replied, "No one gets cold in summer.""You do." Aunt Lou continued, "As a kid, you were always playing from dusk until dawn, you'd come back home with a cold but you'd smile like you do now and say that it was worth it because you had fun. You've always been naughty and silly."I laughed as I remembered those days, I said, "Yet you still love me.""Of course, you're my daughter."I flinched as I heard that. It wasn't the fi
Olivia Summers After a few hours of drive, we arrived back, Damon offered to walk me back to my apartment with a smirk on his face, "Shall I walk you back to your apartment, love?""Cringey. You're really cringey." I mocked as I grabbed my bags, "You're not Dylan so no thanks."Then I walked straight ahead without looking back at him. My thoughts wander off to Dylan. Ah... I really want to call him. Before I stepped inside the building, I could hear Damon scoff as he teased, "You're not really gonna look back to say goodbye or change your mind?""No!" I responded while I continued to walk. I scoffed, "Stop hoping, casanova.""I still can't win you for now, huh?" Damon demanded, "Then if not as a girlfriend, I have other ways of pisisng you of. As my lovely servant, clean my room tomorrow, I have a very important guest coming. Come early and leave early, got that?""By guest, I
Olivia Summers I immediately went back to my apartment to get some stuff that I will be needing on my journey to Dylan. I packed my lucky patterned socks, some clothes just in case, etc. Some essentials like my scented candles that smells like Dylan- sunshines and raindbows, it smells heavenly, I cna't sleep without it. Of course, I brought some room sprays disinfectants because it's sanitary. As soon as I finished packing, I realized... I may have brought a little... too much? It's fine, I definitely need all of this things, right? Oh, who cares?I went straight to Damon's room, I took a deep breath and I knocked at Damon's door but there was no response. Ah crap. Should I... wait a little more longer? Do I make a fuss? What should I do for Damon to get the door?!I couldn't wait any longer because every minute counts for me to reach Dylan in wherever he is. So, I decided to open the door and declared as I cl
Dylan AshtonIt was already morning when I woke up.The travel must have gotten me too tired yesterday. I dreamt of Olivia and for some reason, I hoped to see her face as soon as I woke up. I imagined her messy hair falling dow my face as she was waking me up with that gentle smile then all of a sudden, I realized that I remembered that wrong. It wasn't Olivia. It was Summer. A different Summer.I groaned in frustration. I really should have just told Olivia where I was going. What? Why would I tell her that? I mean she's not crazy enough to follow me here even if she knew, right? And why would I want her to? I'm hurting her. I should stop this nonsense. I made my choice the moment I went here to our father's beach house. If I could even consider him that. He was never a father to us.That's why mo
Olivia SummersFor a minute, I almost believe what Damon said but then I realize that he's just trying to make me fall, a classic casanova style: compliment you and tell you things no one else told you so you can feel special even when they're just toying you.I know their kind too well. I'm not proud but I've been toyed by the likes of him. I was the subject of bets of all sorts because I was theweird and hopeless romantic girl everyone knew.Damon was no different. He was a casanova. Always will be.Damon sat beside me and said, "Well, we're definitely lost.""Why are you sittting beside me?""I wanted to.""Gross."Damon snickered, "Woman, you will be swayed. Sooner or later.""Keep dreaming." I grinned confidently, "No matter what you do, I will never fall in love with you."
