LOGINThey called him the Black Judge because no one escaped his verdict. Nikolai Rozanov was the most feared syndicate king in Russia. A man whose name was whispered in courtrooms, government offices, and criminal empires across the world. Until Dominique Reed took the stand. The man Nikolai loved became the prosecution's most valuable witness, exposing the crimes of the Black Judge and sending him toward a life behind bars. But Nikolai never reached the prison. The transport vehicle exploded before it reached its destination. No body was recovered. The world celebrated his death. Dominique tried to move on. For years, life slowly returned to normal. The syndicate collapsed, Nikolai's enemies divided his empire, and the Black Judge became nothing more than a terrifying story from the past. Until the people closest to Dominique begin dying. Then the old syndicate starts moving again. Territories are reclaimed. Enemies disappear. Men who once celebrated Nikolai's death begin receiving warnings bearing a symbol they haven't seen in years. The Black Judge is alive. And he has returned for everyone who destroyed him. Years ago, Nikolai's daughter was murdered. His young son disappeared the same night and was never found. Nikolai had spent years believing he had lost both of them. Now he knows the truth. His son is alive. Someone has kept him hidden all these years and the people responsible for Nikolai's downfall may know exactly where he is. As Nikolai tears apart the empire built from his ruin, Dominique finds himself dragged back into the life he thought he escaped. Because the man he betrayed has returned with an empire, a war to finish, and a son to find. And this time, the Black Judge isn't going to let anyone stand in his way.

“ Fuck!! Fuck!!! Doug! " The moans that tore out of my throat didn't sound human. It sounded from another realm. My legs were wrapped around Douglas’ waist. He was pounding my hole hard. The sun was already up. The birds were chirping right outside my bedroom window. I had a lot of things to do today but my mind wasn't on them. My entire focus was fixed on the man in between my legs. He leaned, resting half his weight on my body. I spread my legs wider to accommodate him. Douglas placed his both hands on both sides of my head. Every thrust he made brought waves of pleasure rushing through me. His ragged breaths filled my ears. His black eyes looked even blacker as he gazed into my eyes with such intensity like he wanted to see my soul. Our cries of pleasure filled the room. Thank heavens for the soundproof or the house keepers would have heard our loud moans, not that they didn't know about us anyways. Douglas licked my ear, biting down on the lobe. Another weird sensation of pleasure ran straight to my toes and they curled. I moaned, my lips finding their way to the base of his neck, licking and sucking the soft skin. Douglas held me tight as his thrusts became faster. He was hitting me hard in all the right places. My breaths felt short and I found myself gasping for air. Douglas let out a loud cry as he came first. A few seconds later, I also came. Douglas fell on me, placing his head on my chest. We laid still for a while trying to catch our breaths. I pushed the hair out of Douglas’ face with the sharp tip of my red stiletto nails. I smiled, gazing down at him. Douglas was the best thing that had happened to me in years. When I had no direction, I was grieving and couldn't get my life back on track, Doug had helped me. After a childhood of dreams, Doug had helped to later put those dreams in place. I had once dreamt of being a fashion icon and now I had gotten there and it was all thanks to Doug. He approached me saying that I had potential and he was the only one who didn't try to take advantage of me. I was skeptical but later had to agree. Doug became my manager and I made it big modelling for large brands. I was on my way to also establishing my own fashion brand and being the one to start hiring the models. Life was going good. I never thought it would go so smoothly after that incident. I shook my head to get rid of the thoughts that wanted to start pouring in. That was in the past. It should stay in the past. I have moved on and I now have Doug, who had asked me out after three months of being my manager. “ That was one hell of a ride, babe. " Doug said, snapping me out of my thoughts. " Yes it was, “ I said, stretching. Doug rolled out of the bed. He picked our clothes from the floor and dropped them on the white couch in the room. “ You have a shoot this morning, babe. " Doug said, walking into the bathroom. " Ughhhhhhh. “ I groaned rolling to the end of the bed. I sat up pushing my hair out of my face. “ I'm so tireddddd. I don't think I have the strength to go for a shoot. " " You'll be fine babe. " Douglas said disappearing into the bathroom, taking his time like he had nowhere to be. The sound of the shower started a few seconds later. I sighed and reached for my phone. There were already notifications waiting for me. Messages from my agent, two missed calls from my stylist, and a reminder about the shoot. I opened the message from the stylist. Don't be late. Marcel wants everyone there by ten. I stared at it. Everyone was always worried about me being late. Nobody ever worried about Douglas. Probably because Douglas was the one responsible for making sure I wasn't. The shower stopped. A few minutes later, the bathroom door opened and Douglas walked out, rubbing his hair with a towel. “You're still in bed?” “I live here.” “You're also the reason we're always rushing.” I looked at him. “You took a twenty-minute shower.” “Fifteen.” “Twenty.” “Fifteen.” “You're impossible.” He grinned. “I know.” He walked over to the wardrobe and picked up the shirt he'd left there the night before. “I'll go downstairs. I'm hungry.” “Already?” “I woke up hungry.” “You're always hungry.” “And you're always judging me.” “Because you eat like you've never seen food before.” He slipped his shirt on and looked at me. “You're just jealous because I can eat whatever I want.” I laughed. “Go downstairs.” “Yes, boss.” He walked out. I finally dragged myself out of bed. My shower didn't take nearly as long as his. I dressed quickly, fixing the collar of my shirt in the mirror before grabbing my phone. I took one last look at myself. Good enough. I headed downstairs. Douglas was sitting at the kitchen island with breakfast in front of him. “You waited.” He looked up. “ This was the most selfcontrol I've had in a while ” “I didn't think you'd survive that long without eating everything in the house.” He pointed his fork at me. “Keep talking and I'll eat your breakfast too.” I pulled out the chair opposite him. “What time are we leaving?” “ In the next twenty minutes.” “For a ten o'clock shoot?” “We have to get there early.” “Why?” “Because Marcel has decided today that perfection is apparently a reasonable expectation.” I groaned. “Of course he has.” Douglas laughed. “You'll survive.” “I always do.” He looked at me for a second. “You nervous?” “About a photoshoot?” “You hate being unprepared.” “I hate people who waste my time.” “That's basically the same thing.” I reached across the table and stole a piece of fruit from his plate. He immediately slapped my hand away. “Get your own.” “You have more.” “That's not the point.” I smiled. “You're very possessive about your breakfast.” “You're very annoying before noon.” “And yet you keep dating me.” “That's my greatest character flaw.” I laughed. The housekeeper came into the kitchen a moment later. “Mr. Reed, should I prepare anything for later?” “No. We'll probably eat at the studio.” She nodded. “And the package that came this morning?” “Leave it in my office. I'll deal with it when I get back.” Douglas finished his coffee and stood. “We should go.” I picked up my bag. “Finally.” He gave me a look. “You were the one who took forever getting dressed.” “I needed to look good.” “You always think you look good.” “I usually do.” He shook his head as we headed toward the door. I smiled to myself. It was going to be a long day. Dominique. I had fallen asleep in the exact spot they had left me. I didn't even remember closing my eyes. The pain in my body had eventually dulled enough for exhaustion to take over, and I had been too tired to care where I slept. The sound of the door opening pulled me out of it. Footsteps approached. I kept my eyes closed. A slight nudge against my leg made me flinch. “Get up.” I slowly opened my eyes. Roman stood over me, his expression hard. Behind him was a short haired woman in a lab coat, carrying a medical bag. I pushed myself up on one elbow, immediately regretting it when pain shot through my side. Roman's jaw tightened. “You could at least ask how he's doing.” I looked at him. “Who?” His eyes narrowed. “The Pakhan.” I stared at him for a moment before looking away. “I don't care.” Roman scoffed. “You shot him.” “He shot my boyfriend and abducted me and my family.” “ That bullet could have killed him.” “Well I'm guessing i
Nikolai. Shit! That piece of shit really shot me. Thank goodness it was my arm. Dmitri was holding me trying to apply pressure on the wound. My boys, almost a dozen of them had gathered and were beating up Dominique. I should let them beat him to death but he could only die by my hands. No one else had the right to take his life not even him. " Enough!" I yelled. Everyone stood still but one of the boys made sure he added an extra kick. Dominique was writhing and groaning in pain. " Call Andrea. " Dmitri said to Roman. Roman rushed out with another of my boys. The rest rallied round me shouting and panicking. They half carried me out of the room down to the east wing where my room was. " Put me down you dimwits and quit fussing. " I said irritatedly. They helped me onto the sofa, arranging my legs on the table. " Pakhan. Are you okay? " Rusev said massaging my legs. " Get him water!" " It's just my arm you fools. I'm not dying. I've survived worse. " " Wh
Dominique. The room was too comfortable for a place where I was being held against my will. I sat on the bed looking out the window. Only one thing on my mind. Escaping. But how? I don't think I would even be able to step out of this room. So how would I escape? I was so deep in thought that I didn't hear the room door open. I thought it was Roman coming to check on me but then that familiar scent hit me. I turned. Nikolai stood in the doorway. He was dressed entirely in black. A fitted shirt beneath a long black coat, dark trousers, and polished boots. The top buttons of his shirt were undone, exposing the faint line of his collarbone. His dark hair was slightly disheveled, a few strands falling across his forehead as though he hadn't bothered fixing it. There was something different about him. He looked exhausted. Not weak. Never weak. Just... worn around the edges. And somehow, that only made him more attractive. The scar cutting across his left eye mad
Dominique ( Present day ) I had no idea how long I had been kept inside the empty room. My chest was hurting badly and I was having trouble breathing. I think they may have broken my ribs. I laid on the floor holding my belly with my eyes closed wondering if Nikolai had fulfilled his promise of taking Doug to the hospital. I wondered if Doug was fine. I also wondered where my mom and Asher were being kept. I began counting to help me drift off but my counting was interrupted by the sound of the door being opened. I refused to open my eyes, hoping that whoever came in would go out soon. " Get up. " A voice said. I slowly opened my eyes and weakly raised my head. A tall guy, maybe a little older than me stood in the room lazily twirling a gun in his left hand. " Why? Where are we going?" I asked. " Your room. " " My what? " " The Pakhan has ordered that you be given a room. " I snorted. " The Pakhan. " I said in a tone of disbelief. " I will never get over the
