Alexander POV
I stretched my arm before opening my eyes with a smile on my face. My head on the other hand pounded like a second heartbeat and I groaned loudly when the pain shifted to one side when I tried to turn. I gave up on turning around and let my hand wander on the now cold sheets in search of my beautiful mate.
As my hand wanders farther on the sheets, my heartbeat accelerates while my brain tries to reassure me that she is just somewhere around. ‘She must be in the bathroom or the living room. Or maybe she went to get some stuff. I need to stay calm.’

Chapter 45Sara POVI head to my room once Alex leaves the suite and sit on the king-sized bed. The bed is decorated with rose petals while scented candles are placed around the bed waiting to be lit for the wedding night. I sigh at the over-the-top decoration and fall on to the bed in half laying position as I swing my legs a bit. My muscles relax as they come in contact with the soft mattress while my eyes take in the rest of the room. The walls of the room are painted white like in most of the hotels and have dark wood furniture around the suite.
