A saviour

To my relief, Avril comes back, and she keeps her promise of giving me a DVD and a small player so I can watch the classes. She also surprises me with a phone and a number.

"You have to make sure you hide them from your husband."

While Avril goes off to clean, which makes no sense that she cleans every day but it is just a silly rule for her to follow, thanks to Leo. I study the name and number written on the paper, still not believing that it belongs to Raymond.

I quickly stuff the items under the sofa when I hear footsteps approaching, thinking that it might have been one of those men, but it is only Avril who tells me that she was told to make dinner and leave.

I nod at her. "I'll go up to my room then." I tell her, then hide things she gave me under my robe.

"Be strong Angela, you will get out of this soon."
