Kevin Tom

In a very large room, or

you could say a room from the mansion. It seems, two old and young

people are arguing.

"Kevin! How many

times have I ordered you to carry out my plan! You must be engaged to a human

girl from the Lim family!" An old man looked angry at the young man in

front of him.

"I don't like him,

Daddy! I don't love him either! Why are you forcing me?!" The young man

retorted in annoyance.

"Like? Love? Do you

realize who you really are?! You are not a human with such disgusting feelings!

You are a terrifying creature, who will destroy all of humanity! You are the

death of a human!" cried the old man at the young man he called Kevin.

"You don't know that

I never cared who I was, Dad. I'm just Kevin! My name is Kevin! I'm not the

death of mankind!" The young man, Kevin, chimed in.

"How dare you disown

who we are! Did you forget that your mother died because of whom?!" said

the old man—his father reminded him.

Thump!

As soon as he heard the

word 'mother', Kevin's heart felt like it was being stabbed by a thousand

swords. It was so painful and tight that it was unbearable.

"Kevin, have you

forgotten who killed your mother?" His father walked up to Kevin and held

his shoulders. His tone was low but pressing.

"I will never forget

who killed my mother." Kevin's red eyes flashed sharply. The look is

scary.

"Good! Keep in mind

that your mother was killed by a human. And now, you know what you have

to do, don't you?"

"I know what I have

to do, but I don't want to do it." Kevin replied flatly. His gaze returned

to normal.

"Huh?! Are you

crazy?! Don't you want to avenge your mother?!" his father frowned, his

brows furrowed in confusion.

Kevin turned his gaze to

his father. "I want to, Father! I want to avenge my mother! I really want

to do that! But I can't." Kevin paused for a moment. "Did Father

forget? Mother herself forbade me not to take revenge. Therefore, I threw away

my thoughts for revenge," continued Kevin explaining everything. His eyes

turned somber.

"Tsk! Listen, Kevin!

Your mother just didn't want you to be killed while getting her revenge back

then! But now, look! You're strong! You've been great! And I believe you won't

die easily against those humans!"

Kevin

was silent for a moment, then spoke again. "Can I ask something?" His

father nodded quickly.

"Why should I be

engaged to one of the Lims? Can't another family? Can I choose my own girl,

even though we can never be together in the end?"

His father immediately

shook his head after hearing Kevin's question. "No! If you want revenge,

then you need to approach the Lim family first, because they were the culprits

of all the attacks that happened twenty years ago! They are the instigators of

mankind to attack our nation!

"And as a result of

that attack, almost all of the vampires were wiped out and destroyed! There are

only a few left in this world," explained his father at length.

"Yes! Then why

should I approach the Lim family, when everything that happened was their

doing?!" Kevin asked again. The look on his face was getting more and more

confused.

"If you are closer

to them, then it will be easier for you to kill them. You can start by killing

one by one, until you kill all of them. Once they are wiped out, we can kill

the rest of humanity on this earth, without a single one left!" His father

grinned widely.

"But I'm really not

interested in taking revenge. Besides, why involve other humans if the only

fault is the Lim family? You can kill the Lim family yourself with your magic.

You don't have to include me in your plans," Kevin said honestly.

"You're not

interested in revenge?! BEWARE, KEVIN! You are not a human with compassion and

pity! You are Prince, you are Prince of the Vampire nation! And when I die, you

will be the leader of this clan! You are the next king!" shouted his

father loudly. The old man no longer understands the child's way of thinking.

Kevin raised an eyebrow.

"Prince? Vampire? If only I could choose, I'd rather be born into a

very poor human family than live as a Vampire Prince whose only goal is to

avenge his entire clan!"

Smack!

A loud voice echoed

through the large room. Kevin's left cheek was red, hot and sore. His father

managed to land a pretty strong slap on the cheek.

"HOW DARE YOU TALK

LIKE THAT! YOU HAVE BEEN BORN AS A VAMPIRE PRINCE! YOU ARE BOUND BY FATE! AND

YOU WILL NEVER CHANGE ANYTHING IN YOUR DESTINY! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!"

shouted his father very angry, while Kevin just did not move with a face that

is both flat and cold.

"I'm going back to

my room now. Remember! You can't change your destiny! Sooner or later you have

to approach the members of the Lim Family and get engaged to the girl from

their family, eventually killing them all!" the father's final, then

disappeared somewhere.

"If I can't change

my destiny, I don't care at all. I'll keep trying to change it, even if my life

is at stake!" mumbled Kevin clenching his fist tightly.

"Ah! What's wrong

with me?! Why do I keep thinking about Kevin?!" Henzie mumbled on the bed

as she turned her body left and right. After Kevin came home from dropping her

off this afternoon, for some reason the girl's heart kept beating fast. She

kept thinking about the silver white haired man. It seems, there is something

strange about her!

"Agh!" Henzie

screamed in annoyance, sitting on the edge of the bed and ruffling her hair in

frustration. "Why does the image always appear in my head?! O head, get rid

of these images!" She grumbled, completely confused now. She chose to

remain silent with her head down.

After a few minutes of

silence, the girl suddenly stood up while thinking of an idea. She stepped into

the bathroom, intending to clean herself. Who knows, the splash of water can

all disappear from her head, she thought, wondering what people often say can

really help or not.

After bathing, Henzie put

on her night clothes. After that she went to the dining room with the aim of

having dinner with father and mother, but when she got there she couldn't find

anywhere where her father and mother were.

‘Where are they?’ Henzie

thought to herself. "Father! Mother! Where are you?!" Henzie screamed

loudly, hoping that her mother and father would listen, but there was no

answer. Because she was too hungry and her parents didn't answer, the girl

finally decided to sit down at the dining table.

Arriving at the table,

she was surprised to see a letter. The letter opened.

Henzie, Mom and Dad go

outside for a bit. We'll be home quite late. Don't wander off, okay? Mother has

stored food in the refrigerator. If you want to eat, just heat it up. Don't buy

food outside! it's not healthy.

From: Mother.

"Why didn't they

tell me directly if they wanted to leave? Even though I've always been in the

room, I haven't moved at all from that place.

"Tsk, never mind. I

better eat." Henzie walked over to the refrigerator, took the food her

mother had prepared. Next she heated it up, then ate quietly.

After eating, Henzie went

straight back to the room. She played with her cellphone while waiting for her

mother and father to come home. She checked the clock. It seemed that it was

almost nine o'clock at night, but her parents had not shown any signs of

returning home. She also planned to check on the outside terrace while waiting

for them for a while. However, before she reached the front door, her ears had

already heard the sound of her father's car horn, indicating that her parents

had returned. Immediately, the girl walked quickly towards the door and opened

it.

"Mother

father!" She cried when she saw the two of them get out of the car.

"Oh, Henzie, I'm

sorry, Mom and Dad came home late at night," said the mother, approaching

her who was standing at the door.

"No problem,"

Henzie replied. Both her parents and herself then entered the house. They

gathered in the living room while chatting casually. Until it was not felt, it

was getting late and they returned to their respective rooms to rest.
