Violette POV “You may kiss the bride.” The pastor said. Cedric pulled her in for a kiss and the crowd went crazy. Little Colette cooed contently in my arms, Viktor holding my hand tightly. “The tiara suits her well.” Viktor said. I gave him a smile. “It does, doesn’t it?” I asked. Violette POV “I now pronounce you husband and wife. King Viktor, you may kiss your lovely bride.” The minister said. Viktor didn’t hesitate to pull me into his arms. He placed a hand behind my neck and the other on my lower back and pressed his soft lips against mine. “I love you.” He whispered against me. “And I love you.” I smiled. He picked me up and spun me around as the room around us cheered happily. “Now, per the requests of the King, I will be crowning Princess Violette as our Queen, now.” The minister said. He walked up to me and I kneeled. “You will make a great Queen, lady Violette. Long may you reign.” He said as he placed the crown on my head. He held his hand out for me but before I could grab it, Viktor growled. “Mine.” He growled. The minister chuckled nervously as he backed away. Viktor held his hand out for me and I grabbed it. The crowd burst into laughter and cheers at the sight of their new Queen. “Should we run? I can’t wait to get you out of this gown.”

Violette POV “Now, there are five rules. Try your best to follow them.. The King won’t be very kind if you break them, and neither will I. And today especially.. he’s not in the best mood.” The head maid said. Today is my first day as a slave, since the King, Viktor announced me yesterday. Violette POV I thought back to when I was captured. The alarms were blaring, and people running and screaming. “Princess! You have to hide, the lycan King and his men are here to kill us all!” My maid Lillian screamed. We’ve been best friends for as long as I can remember, and this is the second time I’ve ever seen her so frightened.
