Chapter 10 – Sleep over

2021-07-15 20:28:38At the unloading dock the younger trainees where already starting to carry the smaller parcels inside to put in the mess hall, the older trainees would use the trolleys and move the bigger supplies, that were in metal shipping crates. There were about 20 crates to unload and then empty crates that were delivered last month were loaded abord. The whole process took about two hours.
Most of the trainees then wondered back in via the mess hall to check for their parcels they ordered. This was the most exciting time on Planet S610.
There wouldn’t be any other classes for the rest of the day so Mia found her parcels and went to her room to try them on. She tried on the cargo pants, they fit her alright although they clung to her legs and were a lot tighter than she imagined they should be, but they felt nice on, the material was stretchy and they moved with her. She then tried her new boots on. Perfect fit. Just as well, normally in the past she would have traded with someone else if they didn’t fit but her being the oldest and tallest girl there wasn’t many others her size.
Mia looked at the time, almost time to meet Sao. She wasn’t sure if Senior Master Dora would let Sao have a sleep over but it was worth a try.
As she came through the mess hall doorway Sao saw her and her face lit up. “Hey, little one, coming?”
Sao bounded off the chair and was beside her as they left heading for the Senior Instructor’s Office. They knocked at the door and entered when permitted.
“Hi, Senior Master Dora,
“Girls come in” Said Dora. “What brings you to my office?”
Mia feeling the truth being pulled from her spoke first “We were wondering if Sao could have a sleep over in my room tonight?”
“Oh” Said Dora “and what has brought this on?”
Mia gave a meaningful look at Sao
“um . . “Sao began “I haven’t been . . . sleeping well . . . I sometimes have some bad dreams . . . and Mia said I could sleep in her room if it was ok with you” Sao looked down shyly.
“hmmm, well . . .” Dora pondered, she knew it was the truth she could feel her gift pull the admittance of bad dreams out of Sao. It was a good idea of Mia’s, but if Sao only become dependant on Mia and she choose to leave in 3 months, that might put Sao back again. “How about you invite Jenny too.” Suggested Dora
Sao’s face lit up “, we can really do that!” she said excitedly
Yeah, that will be ok with me.” Said Dora
Both the girls turned to leave when Dora spoke up “Sao, how about you go and ask Jenny, Mia can you stay behind for a minute”
Mia gave Sao’s shoulders a squeeze as she nodded and bounded off through the door.
“Mia, have you given much thought to when you might like to leave and what planet you would like to go to?” asked Dora
Mia had given it a little thought but before she could decide what to say, She could feel the words forming and being pulled towards her mouth, Dora’s gift.
“Yes, I want to leave eventually, but maybe not in the first month, I want to make sure Sao is settled.”
“Have you decided what planet you will go to, or what you want to do?”
“Well you said that, you suspected I came from Planet Ziion, so I thought that I would go there and try to find where I came from. I don’t really know what I want to do. I figured I could go into the military if I didn’t find anything to do. Just until I worked out the planets system.
“That’s a good plan I suppose, just remember the reason Sao is here, it was to keep her safe. I suspect that you were sent here for that reason also. It might be dangerous to openly dig up your past.”
“Yes, I had considered that” Mia Paused “Can I write or come back to visit once I leave? I can ride the supply ship here and back?”
“Yes, that is allowed. . . . and thank you for looking out for Sao. I think that is all, unless you . . .”
Mia nodded and left, closing the door quietly as she left.

Once they were back in their apartments, Jay stood Mia beside their bed and he removed her dress and took her hair out. Mia could feel the anticipation coursing through her heating her core. Jay then knelt before her and removed her ankle boots and holster. He then peeled her tight black pants down so she was just in her underwear. He ran his hand up the inside of her leg. The Elites began the Banquet and after they were announced Mia and Rota held hands while they walked out to take their seats, Jay was announced next and he followed. There were a few whispers as people took in Mia’s dress. They all stood before their seats until Rota had declared the Banquet to begin. Jay then helped Queen Rota into her seat and then Mia, taking his seat next to Mia.The food was delicious and between courses Rota took Mia around the tables to officially introduce her to the people of Ziion. She got a lot of comments about her dress. She just smiled politely and thanked them. As the dessert was brought out, they wondered back to their table. Day 21The next day Mia was introduced to all the Palace advisors and important people at a variety of events and functions all organised by Rota and Aunt Alice. Mia was also given two senior attendants that could help her with everything from hair and make up to who she might meet at the next event and the traditions behind the events.
