I watched them talk for a while, but talking turned to touching. A touch could be explained away, but a kiss couldn’t. Not a full-blown kiss on the lips.

I shouldn’t give a damn, but watching Maverick with his hands over my ex fated mate made my blood boil. Why would he even go after her? She wasn’t his type. He liked blonde supermodels, and he didn’t even date for that long.

Maverick and Odessa were out in the field after everyone had gone. I stayed to use the gym for a while. I stumbled upon them, and I wished I hadn’t.

Seeing her every day was slowly becoming easier, especially after the guys stopped commenting on her legs. I knew how sexy she was. I spent hours thinking about how delicious it would be to wrap her legs around my neck.

“Fuck this,” I grunted.

I marched out of the building and into the parking lot. I climbed into my black sports car. Maverick’s car was still in the lot. Maverick’s going to take Odessa home.
