Due to the excess pressure he exerted on his knuckles, they couldn't help but turn pale. There he stood with gritted fangs, balled fists and a furious expression lingering on his face.
He visibly fumed in unhidden rage as he eyes kept gawking at the stairs. Initially, he wanted to chase after them, but canceled the idea.
āThat fucking bastard! The fuck does he think he is?ā Jayden growled angrily, yet no one tried to pacify him. Hayden was the first to arise from his seat ā clearly, he's exhausted from the day's events and wishes to retire to bed.
Wordlessly, he began walking off without bothering to even bid his father goodnight; Axel wasn't surprised at all ā his relationship with his very own son is pitiful.
Likewise, Sidney arose from his seat then strolled to Jayden. He stood beside him before speaking.
āI don't give fucks about that rag doll, but trust me, I'll kill her if she tries to cross paths with meā his tone was laced with utmost seriousness. Without waiting for a response, he headed for his room. Wesley, however, smirked cheerily while he arose and went to Jayden.
He placed his left hand on Jayden, yet his cheesy smirk persisted. āTake a chill pill, bro. You seriously ain't going to lose your temper over a piece of crap like that, huh?ā he questioned with furrowed eyes.
āFuck!ā Jayden smacked Wesley's hand from his shoulder. āWhy in hell's name is he paying attention to her? She's supposed to be a slave, right, yet he took her into his room! How shamelessā he trawled aggressively only to get responded with hearty laughter from Wesley.
āI can't believe you're the one speaking, Jayden. She's now our general slave, okay? And you're the most shameless among us. Don't speak righteouslyā Wesley called. He gave Jayden one last pat on the shoulder and went away.
Axel had already left noiselessly, leaving Jayden to bask in rage. He eventually went to his room, but couldn't stop thinking about Jayson.
āI freaking loathe him! He can't speak, but will take advantage of my idea. Gosh!ā he huffed, barging into his room.
Apparently, Jayden had someone waiting for him. She sat comfortably on the bed with her lipstick covered lips pursed in a wide grin.
Jayden grinned sweetly as his eyes fell on her slutty figure. āMy beloved Moon. Come to welcome me?ā he beamed, his eyes glistening with lust.

The penetrative rays of sunlight continuously kissed her face severally. A groan elicited her lips while forcing her eyelashes open. She batted them repeatedly and rapidly as she tried to adjust to the rays of light.
Subsequently, she sat upright on the bed, but almost immediately a surge of pain ran through her spine. āAh!ā Kiera grunted painfully due to how much her back stung persistently. Her hands were unknowingly gripping the lemon green sheet as she waited for the pains to die down.
She remained motionless for a while and, in that position, the door creaked open. A maid holding onto a tray surfaced, but when her gaze fell on Kiera, she gasped inaudibly.
Seconds passed by with the maid gaping helplessly shocked at Kiera; who is she? And what is she doing in Alpha Jayson's bed?
Those questions ran recklessly through her head, and she remained petrified for a while. Kiera likewise stared at the maid, without anyone trying to break their gaze.
Fortunately, another door within the room cracked opened, and subsequent footsteps were heard. The maid snapped out of her thoughts, rushing hurriedly to serve the meal.
As she did, Kiera kept her gaze strictly at her until she placed the tray on the table a distance away from the bed. She made to leave, then again Kiera called her back.
āUhā¦excuse me miss butā¦where am I?ā Kiera questioned softly. A gaze was sent her way, but never a response; the maid bolted out.
Kiera entirely became aware of her surroundings ā undoubtedly, this wasn't the shabby shithole she called a room back in the woods ā No!
The room could be singularly described as magnificent ā overly spacious, expensively luxurious, with the sweet scent of rosemary lingering in the air. The owner seemed to adore the color lemon green since the wallpaper, bedsheets, wardrobes, and even tiles were green.
Now she wondered who's room she might be in. Previously, she wasn't able to fully look at the Alpha quintuplets ā all she can say currently is they are nowhere close to being identical. One had this disgusted countenance ā another seemed perverted ā pitiful ā nonchalant andā¦.. Unreadable.
She can't certainly say who might have brought her into his room, since she passed out after being branded. Kiera concluded her back must be aching due to yesterday's brandingā¦but isn't the pain supposed to be more excruciating?
While engrossed in her thoughts, light footsteps were heard, followed by a gush of rosemary filling her nostrils. Kiera turned to gape at one of the Alphas.
He had a sweet smile plastered on his face with those silky jet black hair scattered all over his face. Judging from the repeated drops of water, she knew he's just coming out of the bath.
āGood morningā his voice sent slight goosebumps all over her skin. She found it hard to reply. Isn'tā¦he supposed to be treating her harshly?
For someone who supported her branding, he ought to hate herā¦right? Then again, what's with the cool atmosphere?
Jayson's smile died down a little; he's not shocked she's acting so quiet ā she's passing through a lot.
So, he sighed, considering ways into getting her more comfortable. āUhmā¦. Kiera right? How's your back faring? The doctor said it'll heal pretty soon. Is it still hurting?ā his questions got her staring blankly at him.
āHā¦huh?ā she stuttered, oblivious of what he's sprouting. Jayson smiled more broadly before narrating all that transpired.
After he conveyed her into his room, a doctor was called to treat her. By the time Jayson was done speaking, Kiera realized she's in a thoroughly different clothing.
She sat at the edge of the bed, then stared at the large t-shirt and shorts she's wearing. Discreetly, she dipped her hand into the t-shirt before caressing a bandage that's wrapped around her chest.
How the fuck didn't she notice all these up to now?!
Jayson laughed as her cheeks turned bright pink ā she's unconsciously blushing. Thereafter, he encouraged her to have breakfast with him.
She felt reluctant about the whole thing, and when she attempted to answer, a knock resounded on the door. Jayson turned swiftly to it.
āYeah? Who is it?ā he asked gently, and unknown to him, she's ogling. She can tell he's quite different from his brothers ā he's way kinder and more open-minded.
āOpen the darn door!ā someone snapped from outside. Jayson gulped down nothingness and went to open the door, revealing Wesley.
Expectantly, he's frowning with his eyes narrowed, nastily glaring at Kiera. āWesley you'reā¦ā
āWhat the fuck is she still doing here? And hell naw! She's putting on your clothes? Fuck it Jayson! What part of she's a slave don't you freaking get?ā he bellowed intensively at Jayson, who simply gaped silently at Wesley.
He averted his gaze towards Kiera who's still seated, clearly frightened, on the bed. His frown only deepened, seeing her seated comfortably on an Alpha's bed.
āWould you get your effing ass up!ā he thundered at her. Wesley Jayson tried to caution but was totally ignored.
Kiera did as instructed. Wesley's glare told her clearly to leave. She scurried, afraid to leave the room with Wesley's hateful gaze boring holes into her back.
āSeriously, the fuck's your problem?ā Jayson snarled, obviously displeased by Wesley's unwholesome attitude.
āOh?ā Wesley stepped closer, staring directly at Jayson.
āI'm trying to teach that whore the rules, pretty boy! She's a slave, don't think she's your; she belongs to every one of us. We have all the right to treat her as we want. Get that?
"At first, he had tried to entice me by showing me all that I would stand to gain if I accepted his offer. According to him, his pack was large enough to accommodate us and he would be responsible for our safety, that way we wouldn't need to fight off enemies all by ourselves. That made so much sense but I could not accept it." "This pack means more to me than just being a pack. It's a remnant of Crystal pack. I can't just team up with some other pack who had no idea what we've been through. Besides, I discovered that Kappa is somehow involved with Alpha Lundamous' son. I can't have anything to do with a pack who teams up with the one pack that killed my parents." He remained quiet, not wanting to interrupt for fear that she might come to her senses and shut up her emotions like he had seen her do to others. It was a huge surprise that she was revealing all these to him and Hayden was sure she was only doing that because she thought he was someone else. Speaking out would make her r
BEEN THROUGH A LOT He was starting to feel discouraged after running for a while without any sight of the alpha. He had no idea if he had followed the exact path she had taken but he had seen some paw prints on the wet ground and had simply followed. But currently, he was beginning to doubt if those paws belonged to the alpha.Wiping the sweat that had now creased his brow, he sighed heavily, wondering if he should just return or continue his search. Would she even want to see him? After listening to Kunata say shit about him, he was not so confident about the Alpha's feelings for him anymore. Though she had not said anything bad about him ā except that she would kill him if he turned out to be an enemy; his heart was still hurt by those words ā Aiden didn't know how she was feeling inside. Was she beginning to have some second thoughts about him? Would she listen to Kunata and send him out of the pack? Or would she let him stay but withdraw herself from him?Surprisingly, he didn't
DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE I had been waiting for close to thirty minutes yet no sign of him. Did he think I was a joke? Had he deliberately accepted to meet me just to stand me up for hours?I raked a finger through my hair, trying to control my anger as I stood at the foot of the baobab tree we had agreed to meet at. This spot was one of the secret places we could meet and I had personally chosen it so we could have our conversation without being seen by nosy wolves in the pack.I let out a big sigh, still wondering if I had been played. Had he done this just to get back at me? I didn't want to believe that I had been stupid enough to get played on like this.To be honest, I would not be surprised if he didn't show up. Somehow, I was expecting him not to. It had been years since we last had a proper conversation and I was not sure he liked me anymore to want to be around me.Nevertheless, he should have just told me he was not going to come rather than lead me on only to abandon me to m
BURST OUTShe looked at me, her blue eyes watering as her lips quivered."I don't know. He left. He didn't want to hurt me so he left. He felt he would harm me if he remained here with me. But I don't think so. I told him we will get through this together. I know I will be able to calm him anytime he shifts. I'm not afraid of him. I love him." She burst out in tears.I stared at her, my jaw dropped in shock and surprise. What was she saying? Why would Aiden think he would hurt her?Aiden was the sweetest person I have ever known so it just didn't sit right with me that he would hurt a person. Besides, did she just say she loved Aiden? What made her think she had the right? There were so many questions I wanted to ask but the exact opposite left my lips."I don't understand.""Do you know Aiden is an Epsilon?" She wiped her tears and sniffed. She was looking at me like I should know what she was talking about but I had no idea."A what?""An Epsilon. Don't you know what that means?""A
ANYWAY He kept staring at him, finding it funny that the man would think he knew his alpha. He had mentioned her name with so much pride and he was sure he had expected him to cower at the sound. But he was not in any way afraid, in fact, he was intrigued. Intrigued by this pack with a female alpha. "Let him go, Kunata!" Alpha Velvet sighed. Kunata finally let him go, but not without squeezing his shirt a little bit tighter and growling into his face. Aiden adjusted his tunic and leaned back to the heap of stones, his golden-brown eyes on the alpha who was slowly approaching him. "I don't think you should come close to him, alpha. I strongly believe he is dangerous." "Stop it, Kunata. I can take care of myself, remember?" They were talking about him as if he wasn't there. Aiden wanted to yell at them that he was right by their side and would appreciate it if they let him be but it seemed like the words had solidified in his throat, making it difficult to get them out. Alpha Ve
MORPHED He could not take his eyes off the bloody corpse lying all around him. The werewolves who had attacked him had now morphed back to their human forms and their bodies lay in waste, blood oozing out from various parts of their lifeless bodies. They were dead and he could not believe he had killed them. When he had threatened to feed on their corpse, he had never meant to kill them. He had only wanted to scare them off and perhaps injure them a little just to teach them some lesson, but the worst had happened. His wolf had done what it knew how to do best and it had gone ahead to rip them all apart. Aiden could still remember trying to stop his wolf from killing them, he had yelled, had even tried to morph back to his human self but all his effort had been futile because his wolf had not listened to him. It felt like they were two different entities with different minds and no matter how much he yelled, it was as though his wolf could not hear his voice. Now that he was thi
