“I see you're playing again.” bigkas bigla ni Dan kay Euphie habang nakatuon ang atensyon nito sa pagtugtog ng piano. Napatigil kaagad ang dalaga't napatingin sakaniya.

“Yeah. I have to learn this piece for the next performance.” sagot naman niya saka muling itinuon ang atensyon sa harap ng piano.

“I didn't know you like Je te veux too.” ani Dan saka umupo sa isang tabi ng pintuan habang pinapanuod si Euphie.

“It's a family favorite actually.” at napangiti sandali si Euphie. “My mother told me that grandpa used to play it a lot. Too bad that I didn't get the chance to meet him, and maybe that's the reason why I learned to love this song, so that I can feel a little closer to him even though he's already gone.”

“I'm sure that your grandpa is very proud of you wherever he is right now.” Nakangiting sagot lang ni Dan sabay haplos lang ulo ni Euphie.

Natigilan lang si Euphie at napayuko habang pinipigilan niya ang mga luhang unti unting nabubuo sa gilid ng kanyang mata
