Ryle quickly read the note, “Goddess, poor Sam,” she turned to Danny, “is Sam you mate?”

“No, I wish she was, but the Goddess has other plans for us. I know one thing for sure, Peter, Kent or whatever his name is, is NOT Sam’s mate. I could see fear in her eyes but she did a great job hiding it.” Danny told Ryle.

“At least she has you as a good friend.” Ryle smiled. “Now, come sit, tell me about this Peter or whatever his name is, what she told you about him. What you know and what you think about him.” She told him. “Raden, can you have Gamma’s Chase and Caleb join us please?”

“Sure, but you know can mindlink them, right?” Raden giggled.

“Yes, I know Miss Smarty-pants, but you know how I despise doing that.” Ryle said rolling her eyes at her little sister.

“I think you’re the only wolf who doesn’t like to mindlink.” Raden laughed at her sister.

“I agree with Luna Ryle,” Danny started, “it can be weird, especially if you don’t know what the other person might be doing at that moment.”
