Jinx's Pov

"Your pussy tastes like strawberry baby, arch your back a little bit more, I want to see just how round that ass is." I heard my fated mate whisper to Yvonne, our beta's daughter.

"Don't take your tongue out Derrick, I'm going to squirt all over!" She screamed ecstatic.

I am Jinx Valerie, an Omega by rank and for years, I’ve been in love with my Alpha, Derrick Donovan.

Tonight was my eighteenth birthday, the night I finally found out he was my fated mate. I went to his room, heart pounding, ready to confess everything but getting there, I found him with one of my bullies, Yvonne Williams.

Watching the man I loved with the person who made my life a miserable hell broke my heart in an instant.

I teared up watching Yvonne slowly take off Derrick's clothes, revealing his mouth drooling physique. My pussy throbbed with pleasure, getting wet while I bit my lips wishing i was the one making out with him instead.

Yvonne knelt down and tied her hair into a ponytail, then pulled down Derrick's pants. I gasped when I saw how big his penis was, it was as thick as my arm.

Unconsciously a soft moan escaped my lips catching Derrick's attention.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" I held my breath and remained still as a statue but it wasn't enough to mask my scent.

Derrick sniffed the air pinpointing my location. He punched a hole through the secret cabin walls and pulled me into the room violently.

"What the fuck are you doing here Jinx!" He roared at me putting on his clothes.

"I'm sorry I just wanted to talk..." I was cut off by a thunderous slap across my cheek.

"you stupid bitch, who do you think you're spying on our Alpha? You're nothing but a silver haired low life omega scum that brings nothing but death and bad luck to everyone around you!"

I have heard those words a thousand times, my name was a constant reminder of it. But every time, it shattered my heart like glass. It was true, I was indeed and a magnet for death and bad luck. From the moment I was born, nothing good had ever happened to me.

My mother died during childbirth. My father, the former Alpha to this pack became a chronic drunk, blamed and abused me until he killed himself on my eleventh birthday. Since then, I have been absolutely despised like a plague. To the pack, I was the cursed child responsible for the death of their precious Alpha and Luna.

"That's enough Yvonne." Derrick said grabbing me by the hair, the scent of his cologne filling my lungs like oxygen, "Answer me! Why are you spying on me?, or do you have a crush on me?," He scoffed,

"I'm sorry to break this to you sweetheart, but I wouldn't even take you as my whore for pleasure."

I have been abused by my father, orphaned, sexually assaulted by men and avoided like a plague yet none of those things even compared to the level of pain his words caused me.

Still i wouldn't give up, I had to fight for love.

"Derrick I am your.." Yvonne violently slammed her foot into my rib cage, shattering a bone. I instantly shouted in pain and coughed out blood.

"You stupid cunt!, do not speak to the alpha, you're too filthy to even be in his presence and unworthy to draw the same breath as him. I do not even understand why the pack doesn't just banish you, you're turning eighteen tonight and yet, you still cannot shift." She smirked,

"You're so pathetic, it's almost pitiful."

I never understood why Yvonne absolutely hated me when there was nothing I had that she didn't.

"Why do you smell so different?" Derrick creased his brows.

He sniffed me repeatedly until the truth dawned on him and suddenly his face turned pale as though he had seen a ghost.

"No! No! No! This cannot be true, it...it can't be you." he staggered backwards and fell to his knees.

"Derrick what's wrong?" Yvonne crouched to her knees stroking his obsidian black hair, "You wench! What the hell did you do to him?, killing one Alpha wasn't enough for you huh?"

"I didn't do anything.." I managed to say fighting back the tears that threatened to spill. This was not how I imagined the night playing out.

"Shut up! Do not speak omega scum." She hissed at me.

Derrick looked up at me with cold eyes. There was no love or kindness in his stare, only pure disgust, as if I were beneath him.

Even so, I couldn't stop loving him. He was my fated mate, chosen for me by the Moon Goddess, and I couldn't imagine life without him. Tonight, I was desperate enough to do anything to stay by his side, even if it meant being nothing more than one of his whores or plaything to him.

Quickly I moved closer to him holding his feet, "You're my mate Alpha Derrick, even with your words, you have no idea how happy that makes me, I have loved you since the day I laid eyes on you four years ago and I owe you everything for making it possible for me to remain part of the pack." I said earnestly,

"Please, I will do whatever you ask, you do not have to accept me now, all I ask is you let me stay by your side." I pleaded wiping away my tears.

Derrick stood to his feet and gently caressed my cheeks. His hands was so warm that I found my self leaning into his touch. He was so beautiful, so hot that I wanted to go feral.

"what a beautiful confession.." He smiled running his thumbs over my lips and I smiled in delight.

Maybe there was a chance...Yet again, my world was shattered after he added. "But It means absolutely nothing to me you filthy non shifting omega whore!"

"Derrick please... I love you.." He bashed his fist into my face and threw me violently across the room.

"Please..." I struggled to say while Yvonne watched with a gleeful expression. Derrick walked over to me, his blue eyes boring nothing but hate as he spoke.

"I, Alpha Derrick Donovan, reject you, Jinx Valerie, as my mate."

Our bond servered and the words hit me like a physical blow. Suddenly, a white hot pain tore through my chest, worse than anything I’d ever known. It felt as if my entire body was being set on fire from the inside out.

"Please don't do this..." I pleaded to deaf ears.

"Guards!" Immediately like a summoned genie, two guards came barging into the room,

"Take her away and Inform everyone. There will be an execution Tonight."

Jinx's pov "Calhoun, please!" I cried, my voice echoing off the damp cave walls. "You have to wake up. You have to heal!" His breathing was shallow and each gasp sounded like dry leaves rubbing together. The blue glow of the water was fading, replaced by the dark, oily blood of the snake. I pressed my hands against his chest, trying to hold his broken ribs together, but I felt so small. So weak. Nyx, please, I begged in the silence of my mind. I know you’re tired. I know the silver and the lunar blast hurt you but he’s dying. Our mate is dying. Deep inside me, in the darkest corner of my soul, something stirred. It wasn't a growl. It was a faint, golden pulse. “He... protected... us,” a tiny, raspy voice whispered. It was Nyx, "I don't like him, but he protected us." She sounded like she had been walking through a desert for a thousand years. "He did," I whispered aloud, tears dripping into Calhoun’s pale cheek. "He gave everything and now we have to give it b

Derrick's Pov The moon was high in the sky, but the night felt heavier than usual. Hours had passed, and Jinx was still missing. I couldn't sit still as I paced back and forth across the floor, my boots clicking against the wood as my mind raced with dark thoughts. "Shit!" I shouted at the empty walls. I had underestimated Calhoun. I never thought he would be fast enough or strong enough after being a prisoner in the iron walls to snatch her away from me so suddenly. I collapsed into the edge of the bed, burying my face in my hands. I tried to think, tried to plan, but my brain was a mess of worry. I knew they had to be somewhere in the thick forest surrounding the pack house, but the trees were dense and full of hiding spots. Finding her felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. My mind drifted back to the way Jinx looked at me. A while ago, she had actually helped me. She showed me kindness when I deserved nothing but hatred. After everything I had done, after the wa

I groaned into his mouth, my fingers digging into his muscular shoulders as the broken chains on my wrists clinked softly, a reminder of where I had just been, but the sound was drowned out by the heavy splashing of the water as Calhoun moved us toward the edge of the hot spring. He lifted me effortlessly, my legs wrapping around his thick waist. He stepped into the glowing blue water. It was perfectly hot, soothing the bruises on my skin and the ache in my soul. "You're so beautiful," Calhoun murmured, his eyes scanning my face with a worshipful intensity. He reached for the hem of my ruined shirt, his touch hesitant, as if he were afraid he might break me. "Don't stop," I breathed. "I am afraid I might hurt you little mouse." Calhoun said softly. "you won't." I replied cupping his face and kissing him slowly. He pulled the soaked fabric over my head, tossing it onto the rocks. The steam swirled around my bare skin, and I felt a shiver of pleasure that had nothing t

The cold water of the creek was freezing my blood, but the guards were getting closer. I could see the orange glow of their torches dancing on the snow at the top of the ravine. "They went down! Search every inch!" a guard roared. Calhoun staggered, his weight leaning heavily on me. He was still dazed, his eyes unfocused. We had to move. I pulled him through the waist deep water, the current pulling at our legs. We rounded a bend in the creek, and that’s when I saw it, a dark, jagged hole in the side of the cliff. Steam was puffing out of the hole like the breath of a dragon. "In there!" I hissed, dragging Calhoun toward the opening. As soon as we stepped inside, the freezing air of the forest disappeared. The cave was deep and narrow, slanting downward into the earth. The further we went, the hotter it got. The walls were wet, dripping with moisture that turned into a thick, white fog. "Jinx... stop..." Calhoun rasped, his voice thick with pain. "Just a little furt

I held Calhoun’s head in my lap, my tears dripping into his blood stained cheeks. "Calhoun, wake up," I whispered, shaking him gently. His breathing was shallow, and his skin felt like ice. The lunar blast had drained him and me. My own body felt heavy, as if my veins were filled with lead. "Jinx..." a weak, wet voice called from the cabin. I looked back. Derrick was slumped against a broken beam, clutching his side. Blood leaked through his fingers, staining his expensive shirt. "He’s... he’s going to kill us all if you don't leave him." "Shut up, Derrick!" I snapped. "You did this. You triggered him!" "I was only trying to save you. You saw it for yourself what that man really is. He is a demon. A rabid dog that should be put down before he burns the world to the ground." Derrick said coughing out blood and I glared at him."He is my Demon!" "He will kill you!" Derrick shouted back."That wouldn't be the first time would it Derrick?, seeing that you tried to kill me too." I s

  • The Rejected Omega: Lunawolf   Chapter 50

Calhoun took a step into the cabin, and the temperature seemed to drop twenty degrees. The blood dripping from his fingertips hit the wooden floor with a heavy drip, drip, drip that sounded like a ticking clock in the absolute silence. "Calhoun?" I whispered, my voice trembling. He didn't answer. His head tilted to the side, a sickening crack echoing from his neck. He sniffed the air, his chest heaving. The scent of him was overwhelming as it was no longer the comforting smell of rose and rain. It smelled like blood and a cold, metallic darkness that made Nyx howl in terror inside my mind. "Jinx, get back!" Derrick yelled, scrambling to his feet. He wiped blood from his lip and gripped his silver sword with white knuckles. "Calhoun, stop! You’re not in your right mind! Look at her! You’re going to hurt her!" Calhoun’s red eyes slowly flickered toward Derrick. The growl that erupted from his chest was so loud the windows rattled in their frames. "Mine," Calhoun hissed. Th
